Good morning, all! I indeed went to bed very early and I slept quite well.  I awoke to find that an offer had gone out to James Cleverton's agent abut the recording and now we wait for the agent's acceptance or not.

Today, I have things to accomplish at Toyland, like find three scores I've misplaced, scan more ROBERTA materials, add one more full score for DEAREST ENEMY to the pile for binding. Before then, at 8:00am, I am meeting Kyle Guglielmo for breakfast at 72nd and Amsterdam.  On my way there, I will drop off the vocal scores for DEAREST ENEMY to be bound.

Yesterday, I had a fantastic time at the reading of GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES. Those Don Walker orchestrations are imaginative and really glorious.  I look forward to the Encores! production.

BK, it would be nice to see you in Glendale and have some cake.

Mikey, every post is a Stooge report.

I have no more news.

Paul Bogart, who directed "Evening Primrose" for TV, has died. The obit makes no mention of that, but he directed a great deal of great TV:

Wednesday morning greetings!  Today I'm going to Dayton for the volunteer administrators' meeting, with errands both on the way there and on the way home.

My sister phoned to say a heron had eaten all her goldfish. Knowing that my pond is overstocked, she requested some of mine. So once I've managed to scoop them up, some of my goldfish can look forward to the novelty of a car ride and a new home.

From today's Headscratching eBay Description and/or My, She *Did* Get Around, Didn't She? Departments:

This is the episode aired on March 29, 1948 titled "Roses in the Rain", starring JOAN CAULFIELD and RALPH BELLAMY.  It's a story about the romance of President Grover Cleveland and Frances Farmer.

Grover and Frances were an item for quite some time.....but I don't think Joan Caufield was really the performer to play her.

Well, we have decided to list our old home for between 2-4 weeks only, just to see if we can get a nibble.  I must inform the tenants today.   Pray for Rosemary's Landlord.  :)

Speaking of Rosemary's Baby, I have been on a mad tear (the best kind of tear) to track down cover versions of the Lullaby.  I can't seem to figure out if there were albums associated with the Arif Mardin and Peter Duchin versions, or if there were only singles (45s).

I used to represent his ex-daughter-in-law, Linda Scruggs Bogart.

She has kinda disappeared from the scene.

Anybody know what's become of her or she's doing these days?
