Nice photo DR JMK.

I have no idea who any of those people are in the photo.

Question to you film buffs:

Is Delmer Daves' last name pronounced like the plural of Dave or Davies?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Stressfree Vibes to DR cillaliz! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks Elmore!!
I'm really glad we had a work day today. I'm feeling a little more in control. We aren't taking any new people until we catch up and Monday afternoon the new intern will be coming in for the first time to "get an idea of how we do things".   Today I also bought supplies and set up her work area a little better.  I've got to go get her parking pass tomorrow.  I'm really curious to see how it goes having two employees.  If it goes well with Regina, I may add a second assistant, whether it's her or someone else.
Good news DR CILLA LIZ - hope the new intern is a good fit.
So do I. The best part of this is I get to see what would happen if I hire another assistant without spending the money.  She gets college credits for working for me. As busy as I am right now, I may be at the point where it's exactly what I need.  And since she really wants to work on the criminal side of my practice, it will show me exactly what could happen.   I think Edith likes that she doesn't speak Spanish.  No threat to her work at all, lol
I just received this from the PR firm repping the release of DARK SHADOWS, in remembrance of Jonathan Frid's passing a few days ago and thought some of you DS fans might enjoy it:
I had not heard about this at all!
TCB will like this...I just checked my mailbox and work and there was a package waiting for me from www.dresscircle.co.uk.  I ordered Ramin Karimloo's solo CD debut: Ramin and it arrived!  When they were taking pre-orders, you could order the signed copy, which I did!  It cost the same as the unsigned, so why not?  I've listened to about half of it and it's not bad.  He gets a little breathy at times for my taste, but otherwise has a good voice.  There are some pop songs and he's co-written four of the songs  The only theater songs are "Music of the Night" and "Till I Hear You Sing."  In the synopsis on the website, the first sentence is, "Ramin is one of the biggest musical theatre stars in the world."  Umm...no, he's not. ;)
I'll finish it tomorrow.
Just finished watching the Titanic special that aired on History last week that we had DVRd.  Really fascinating stuff, kind of interesting to hear the experts talk about how well built it actually was.
Just back from dinner with friends. Somehow, the owner of the restaurant thought it was my birthday, so, well, it was. And I didn't even know it was really Betsy Joslyn's birthday. In addition to "A Doll's Life," she also sings on the BOTMC Sondheim collection, if I recall correctly.
Here's something (sort of)...my contribution to the Topic of the Day:  I certainly liked Abbott and Costello when I was younger, but I haven't seen any of their movies in a long time and I really can't remember any specific movies of theirs. :-\
Kids In the Hall
From England:
French and Saunders
The Two Ronnies (I remember watching them on PBS when I was a kid and I bought their Region 2 "Series Seven" from England that featured The Manhattan Transfer!)
