Picking up on today's blog from BK:

I'm sure there will be movies toward the end of the year that I will want to catch (on DVD), but I have not seen one film advertised thus far this year that I have any interest in seeing.

Last night, we watched WORKING GIRL and a few nights before that, CHAPLIN and BEND OF THE RIVER w/Jimmy Stewart.  None of them may be perfect, but they are still entertaining...and they have "believability".

Well, we have decided to list our old home for between 2-4 weeks only, just to see if we can get a nibble.  I must inform the tenants today.   Pray for Rosemary's Landlord.  :)

Good luck!!

I agree with you about the upcoming releases. Nothing much sounds interesting, except the new Woody Allen, whenever that's due out. And I keep reading reviews across the board for "Damsels in Distress." I love Whit Stillman's earlier works, so I may have to check it out for myself.

DR DOUG R - maybe the heron is waiting for the restocking as well.

Probably. I might have to make lots more journeys!

Can you put some bird netting over her pond to keep the heron away? It should move on if it isn't successful.

And we need photos of your pond.

I did not go hiking this morning.  Instead I'm waiting for the vet's ofice to call.  Sherlock's fever is slowly rising.  He is eating breakfast though with less enthusiasm than usual.

Speaking of which, we haven't had any photos from you lately.

I could have gone hiking, vet appointment isn't until 2:15.  The hike wasn't in town so I didn't want to drive too far away.  Maybe I'll go for a walk in the park in a little while.

Paul Bogart, who directed "Evening Primrose" for TV, has died. The obit makes no mention of that, but he directed a great deal of great TV:

Here's a Playbill article about Paul Bogart and his direction of EVENING PRIMROSE; the article is written by Harry Haun, from 2010, if anyone's interested in more on Mr. Bogart:

The manager of the vet's office call concerned about Sherlock.  We are taking him down for blood work so the results will be waiting for the vet when she arrives.

My question for ASK BK DAY:

What is your favorite event in the Summer Olympics?

I don't really watch that stuff, but if they do ice skating, that would be it.

In the summer, they call it swimming.  ;)

It's Wednesday; we should have pie.

We're having an Employee/Volunteer Appreciation lunch, here at work.  I brought some drinks (non-alcoholic, of course) and we're having pizza and antipasto delivered.  A large Costco cake will be the dessert. :D

Keith just took Sherlock's temp & it has gone down a little bit & is under 104 again. We should have the results of the initial blood work soon.  I'm glad I skipped my hiking group today.
