Dick Clark has passed away. Did I miss someone mentioning that?

I hadn't seen this.

We were watching the movie HOP on Easter and I pointed out to my family that the star of the movie was your landlord, BK.  They seemed impressed. Well, some more than others.

Picking up on today's blog from BK:

I'm sure there will be movies toward the end of the year that I will want to catch (on DVD), but I have not seen one film advertised thus far this year that I have any interest in seeing.

Last night, we watched WORKING GIRL and a few nights before that, CHAPLIN and BEND OF THE RIVER w/Jimmy Stewart.  None of them may be perfect, but they are still entertaining...and they have "believability".
I agree with you about the upcoming releases. Nothing much sounds interesting, except the new Woody Allen, whenever that's due out. And I keep reading reviews across the board for "Damsels in Distress." I love Whit Stillman's earlier works, so I may have to check it out for myself.

I love Woody Allen, but he is kind of hit-and-miss.  Yet, I will definitely see that one.

I saw the coolest thing as I was leaving the volunteer administrators' meeting.  There is a gathering of B-25 bombers from WWII's Doolittle Raid in Urbana, OH, this weekend and at 1pm today they did a flyover at Dayton's Air Force museum.  From the parking lot of the meeting venue, I had a fabulous view of their "parade."  Today is the 70th anniversary of the event.

Funny comment on YouTube, for the Brandy "In My Own Little Corner" as she dances all around the fireplace:

"That's a huge-a*s corner."

This clip is probably as old as George Romney's running mate, but I thought it was really cool.  Rita Hayworth and The BeeGees.

Paul Bogart, who directed "Evening Primrose" for TV, has died. The obit makes no mention of that, but he directed a great deal of great TV:

And Mr. Reynolds was quite hot in his day!

From today's Headscratching eBay Description and/or My, She *Did* Get Around, Didn't She? Departments:

This is the episode aired on March 29, 1948 titled "Roses in the Rain", starring JOAN CAULFIELD and RALPH BELLAMY.  It's a story about the romance of President Grover Cleveland and Frances Farmer.

Keith just took Sherlock's temp & it has gone down a little bit & is under 104 again. We should have the results of the initial blood work soon.  I'm glad I skipped my hiking group today.

Prayers for Peggy?  Isn'y that a John Steinbeck novel?
