Well, you've read the notes, the notes were TGIF (Terribly Gutsy, If Fragile), and now it is time for you to post until the TGIF cows come home.

Good morning, all! I was wide awake at 5:30 and figured it was time to get out of bed. And so I did.

I have a meeting at 11:30 today at Toyland about a new office and other concerns. Much as I complain about my team in music preparation, they are the best, and I want to keep us working together for as long as I can. This year's been stressful, but we're surviving,. If we can secure a new office, which is still in the air, the happier I will be.

I've got Act Three of THE ONLY GIRL to finish, so I'll work on that until I head downtown. I need an assistant.

Or an intern.

Saturday morning greetings!  It's rainy and cool here in SW Ohio.  I have a couple of errands, after which I'll settle in with the first disc of Boardwalk Empire.

Greetings from Toyland!

No word on the final DEAREST ENEMY scores, which bums me out. I need small corrections to three scores and I can print.  Damn!

Whew.  Saturday is usually a work day, but yesterday afternoon about 4 o'clock - I got VERY sick....feverish and clammy....lots of muscle pain.....My sister told me to go home.

And later my sister Molly called me to tell me that she would work for me today, if I wanted her to.  SO I SAID YES.

I am feeling better today - but it's still not good.  Not sure what this is....but I never want it again.  I have to lie down.

Morning all!  Vibes to all who need them both the 2 footed and the 4 footed.  Well, any footed for that matter.

The Weather Man keeps saying we are going to be in for some rough storms today.  Hoping Sheena won't be to scarred.  Toby doesn't seem to mind them.

No plans for today except to chill, read a book, watch some TV/movies, etc.  A nice relaxing day! Ahhhhhhh......

Have good one all!

Doing next-to-nothing is what I did yesterday and I'm quite refreshed today.  Hope DRs Danise and JRand have the same result!

BK I have no idea how you can eat only one meal a day. Every time I read you say this I still can't believe it. I would be starving.

Today it's suppose to be rather warm, and I'm jiggy with that.  I have a Grease rehearsal this morning, and then this evening, the "mother-in-law" arrives for a rather lengthy stay.  I'm a little uneasy, but I do like her and she's coming for much needed R&R.  I'm sure everything will be great, fun, etc.  We'll probably do some things with her while she's here, but the first couple of weeks, she may have quite a lot of alone time with her new iPad (which we got her) and the dogs, as I go into tech for Annie tomorrow and the DP is severely understaffed at the hotel.

More later...

I know it well, thanks to the recording and to Bobby Short singing the great Candle, Unburn song.

TOD:

The list could go on forever:

So many characters in Dickens, such as Macawber, Miss Habersham, Princess Puffer, most of the folks in the theatrical troupe of "Nicholas Nickleby."

Mrs. Proudie in Trollope's Barsetshire novels.

All of the Good Companions in Priestley's book.

Anna Karenina

Scout in "Mockingbird"

Passpartout in "Around the World in80 Days"

From DR Matthew:
Quote
I've recently eliminated all starch and sugar (redundant, yes) from my diet.  Except for the occasional light breading or whatever the last 4 days, things have been awesome.  This eve, we went to PF Changs for dinner and they have this new brussel sprout dish which was to die for.  No rice eaten this eve!!!

GOOD FOR YOU!!!

Anyone who loves bachelor pad lounge (MBarnum, are you listening?), MUST procure the Hugo Montenegro Mr. Groovy compilation.  It is outstanding.
