Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a little of everything, and now it is time for you to post until the bitch-slapped cows come home.

Good morning, all! My lower back is killing me. I'm wondering if my next purchase shouldn't be a new mattress. I really need to get a Macbook for Dublin, so I'm pondering.

We landed Hal Cazalet yesterday for the juvenile role, so we've now got a full cast for DEAREST ENEMY. The only open spot is the Act Three role of George Washington, and we're hoping to get someone like Stephen Rea, Liam Neeson or Gabriel Byrne to come in for an hour and record it. I'm very happy with the cast.

On the office front, good things are happening, although I still have nothing to report. Keep them office vibes rolling! Until a lease is signed, it means nothing.

Today, I'm off to my barber and then to Toyland for a bit of work. I've got three projects on boil and I'd like to finish off the DEAREST ENEMY masters and get them to Bruce Pomahac at Rodgers & Hammerstein.  Tonight I have to meet my friend Joseph and turn over the completed work on THE ONLY GIRL - 4 numbers to go!

DR Nursie, I agree with DR Laura that you've made the best decision for Sherlock.

Wednesday morning greetings!  I have a gazillion things to do today before Mom and I leave for Michigan tomorrow, but I'd rather be watching the episodes of Downton Abbey and Boardwalk Empire that I have on hand...

From Cilla:
Quote
The next Christmas (now in second grade) I only told santa what I wanted for christmas until the evening of Christmas eve.   Apparently my uncle had to go all over Des Moines to find a Chrissy doll on Christmas eve.

How good of your uncle to do that, and that he found you your doll.

I was way ahead of everyone else shopping for gifts.  I was so good I had friends asking me to get them toys for their boys or where they could get them.  I excelled in finding Transformers.

When they wanted Cabbage Patch dolls it wasn't as easy.  My friend was out with her daughter who saw one in the hands of a shopper.  He (a woman would have known better) briefly put it down and the daughter grabbed it.  This was after Christmas, the only way to get them that year for Christmas was to pay black market prices.

This sounds like a perfect quote for DR Laura to use. ;)
