Well, you've read the notes, the notes had the power, and now it is time for you to post until the power cows come home.

Good morning, all.  I must be off to a family not-so-power breakfast at a hopefully very powered IHOP.

I love Randy Newman's songs, but I'll bet there are a million I don't know.  "I Love L.A." is iconic for me, and the film songs are almost sometimes heartbreakingly beautiful.

Good morning, all! I've been up snce 6, but the past two hours have been writing emails to Dublin and the Library of Congress. The madman has look up on the computer the names of the foundation members and is sending requests for acknowledgement along with his hyperventilated credits in the world and stirring up more of a mess. This fool doesn't work for God; he is God!

So, I'm back to Toyland this morning to deal with the second song for Valerian's recital. While I'm there I will proof another ROBERTA number and work on my recording schedule.

Too much to do.

BK,

I remember the time when I was living in my Calabasas condo that the water went off while I was in the shower.

 >:(

Some schmuck doing work on the building had neglected to check to see if anybody was home.

Here's a new book (screenplay) trailer:

Yes, it is autobiographical.

At one point, Kirk Douglas was attached to this project, but we couldn't get the financing.  The studios and the networks felt it was "too soft".

Good Morning on a Thursday.  We had rain yesterday.  A big ol' unexpected rain-- with real rain drops coming down from the sky and actually hitting the ground.  Yippiyay!

Thursday in Indiana!

Nothing happening, as usual.

The Ebay seller sent me a note that read:  "I am sorry.  I sent your camera to the wrong person, and I don't know how long it will take.   So I am giving you a refund."

To me, that means...."I think I can get more $$ for the damned thing, sucker!"  So now I have to start looking all over again.

Greetings from Toyland! The song is scanned and sent. I've dealt with more LoC feedback on how unimportant my madstalker's work was to them, and I will now work on a schedule!

BK, I posted a link to an Android Forum App here a long time ago.  I believe it was in a post about Downton Abbey and Edmundo Ros.

I have had three anime sets to review this week with a very peculiar similarity:

Guin Saga:  hero is half leopard-half man
Cat Planet Cuties:  heroine is half cat-half woman
Squid Girl:  well, I think you can guess this one

Thursday morning greetings!  We had a delightful early Mother's Day dinner last night with my Mom and Rob & Mary Linda at Montgomery Inn.  The ribs, as usual, were delicious.  I gave my Mom some 8x10 (so she can see them) prints of some photos from our recent trip to Michigan and Rob & ML gave me a UC thermal coffee mug to replace the one Rob lost at work.  He'd given me the original for my birthday his freshman year (2004).

Very nice....and someone is enjoying the original one even as we speak.

LOL!  Rob knows where he left it and said last night he'd probably find it next time he goes back there.  I told him I really don't want it back...

I sent off the first day's rehearsal schedule along with a breakdown of who sings what and when. I'm expecting the conductor to change it all, but i've begun my tasks.

I think I will head home now.

I asked the Randy Newman question because I'm trying to make sure I'm not missing something I don't know.
