I enjoyed reading about the singer in the notes and posts. I like hearing how certain things don't work and how you fix things.

I'm having a very bittersweet Mother's Day.  I got my wish, Sherlock is still here but the day is still filled with grief.

I'm so sorry Jane.

I believe they've proven there were only two parts.  ;)

Ginny, first of all, you haven't changed a bit.

Second of all, what mask exactly is your Mother wearing.  And if she's not wearing a mask, please forgive me.  ;)

Well, I couldn't concentrate on the paper, so I make Cream of Leek Soup, sauteed brussels sprouts and a loquat pie instead. The loquats were from the freezer, and something about freezing the fruit made the juice smell of amaretto. The house smells incredible.

And I love the look of a pie all messy with juices bubbling out on top.

It's also the 2nd to last episode of CELEBRITY APPRENTICE (which i had a feeling about so i went online to see who the final two were going to be).

I read spoilers a couple weeks ago.  I was very happy to watch Lisa Lampinelli go home and will be happy when the next one goes home too.  I don't really think the final two are the strongest players, but it will be fun to watch them do the final challenge

Never saw Merman or Martin. Saw Channing several times in "Hello, Dolly!"

I would have liked to have seen Merman in "Something for the Boys" or "Anything Goes" -- or anything of the Cole Porter shows. And Martin in "Leave It to Me!" doing "My Heart Belongs to Daddy" would have been great.

As for "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," I saw a bus and truck tour years ago with Morgan Fairchild, who was Marilyn (or at least tired to be), and Debbie Gravitte, who was great.

LOL, DR JMK!  I don't remember where she got the costume, but I do remember her delight in wearing it.  Think it's a generic monster mask.

There's a new Next Food Network Star starting tonight.  New rules. Now there are teams. Not quite sure how it's going to happen.

Whew!  I read that as Morgan Freeman as Marilyn!

DR Cillaliz, yes, I did get confused with the birthdays of Samantha and Sam being so close together.  It, indeed, is DR Samantha who thinks I'm cute.

Happiest of birthdays to both of them!

Elmore, the bank didn't send you that text. Phishers send you that text. They are hoping you DO have an account at that bank and that you will respond and give them your account number and password.
