Bowling was big in Buffalo when I was growing up.  In college, we had to take at least two phys-ed courses.  I took skiing and bowling.

At our first class we bowled a game.  The idea was to improve the score from your first game as the semester went on.   I don't think we knew that at the time.

By some fluke, I bowled a 182.  I never got that high a score for the rest of the semester.   Since i didn't improve, I got a C.

ATTENTION PLEASE FOR A VERY IMPORTANT NEWS REPORT:

I have tickets to see Donny Osmond.  I have been waiting forty years for this.

Congrats, DR Laura!  And I'm seeing my favorite (female) singer, Barbra Streisand, in Brooklyn in October.

"The Muppets" finally came in at the library, and I am enjoying every minute of this movie.

Thank you all for your kind words about my great fortune of having tickets to see Donny. And I think someone else is performing with him. I don't care about that person. I know I have told my Donny story before.

Thanks for the link, MBarnum. Great fun.

Just don't embarrass us, DR Laura! Do nothing rash. Do not misbehave at the stage door and have a good time.

Well, I'm off to audition for "Titus Andronicus."

Pray for Rosemary's baby.  (I'm not holding my breath.)

I love the gruesome nature of that play. Rape, mutilation, cannibalism. All the things that makes Shakespeare appealing.

We are back from a fabulous evening on the Lower East Side.  Skip was at the place where we had our drinks and snack beforehand and Fred was at the theatre when we arrived.  It was a delight to see them both and seeing HERRINGBONE was a treat.  B. D. Wong is an amazing performer - we were honored to meet him afterwards.  We taxied back to our corner and stopped to pick up some munchies and a bottle of wine, which we're now enjoying.

Well, I have two tickets. You'd have to wrestle DR Sandra for one of them.

I'm jealous, too. B.D. Wong played Dr. Wong in "The Ref," the finest, funniest Christmas movie ever made.
