I'm caught up.

That's all I have.

Tomorrow, it's all about drums.  I hope I'm able to coordinate my feet and hands.  There's a reason why i don't play Bach on the organ, I'm sure tomorrow will solidify the reason

We just finished THE SECRET WORLD OF ARIETTY and echo BK's approval, though we weren't as upset about the English voice cast as he was (we listened to the first 2/3 or so yesterday in Japanese and then finished up tonight in English).  I correctly identified one of the English voice cast artists, whose plangent tones were quite unmistakable.  :)

Well, today's final matinee of "Good Night Moon" was quite the success.  There was only one light goober (the stage manager forgot one light cue but quickly realized that the picture of the cow jumping over the moon was still in the dark) and we had a full house...a waiting list, even!  We only have one more weekend (six performances) and it's done. :)

Great!!! :)

We've had thunderstorms and rain and rain and rain and rain and oh, did I mention it's raining?   I haven't checked the basement yet, but I'm really glad.  It was so hot and humid today, this should break the heat. Tomorrow's high is 79 and even cooler on Tuesday!

Back from a VERY long day of theatuh.  I'll write about Los Otros in the notes.  After I had such a wonderful time catching up with its star, Michele Pawk - we'll be getting together for lunch after the show opens next week.  And our main reed plays the show, so it was fun seeing him.  Dinner was grand with FJL and Joe Kolinski and Harriet Shock.  Then it was on to the one-acts, where I sat next to my good pals Richard and Elizabeth Sherman.

An episode, by the way, that is a game-changer.
Best one by far of the season.

It was lovely to see TCB today.  He looks well, and I'm excited to see how the PT will help.

Having a quiet evening at home, watching Quantum Leap with DR Jed.

We had a great time at the Folger Shakespeare Library Theatre.  The rootin' tootin' TAMING OF THE SHREW worked - the performers and staging were perfect.

Anyone who tried to watch the PBS broadcast of the Memorial Day concert from the National Mall knows that it was raining when our show was over, so we had kind of soggy walk to the Metro and to our hotel.  We didn't know the concert had been stopped until we tried to watch the rebroadcast, but that explains why the Metro wasn't as crowded as I expected.

I just happened to turn to PBS after I finished watching "Harry's Law" (after watching "Mad Men") and Natalie Cole was singing a duet with her father Nat "King" Cole (on video, of course).  The song ended and the orchestra played one or two notes and the conductor motioned for the orchestra to stop and you could barely hear someone tell Natalie Cole that they were stopping because of the weather.  The announcer announced that they had to stop the concert due to difficulties beyond their control.  They then started showing last year's concert, joined in progress.

It's supposed to be rebroadcast on Wednesday at 3:00 am.  I wonder if they'll show it exactly as it was broadcast with the concert just stopping, or if they'll just show the whole concert from last year.
