I can barely walk at the moment. I've got massive blisters on my feet due to doing too much walking up and down those steep hills in Kiev.
Feel better vibes to DR Doug R!  I hate blisters.  Hope you are enjoying yourself!

Gotta go and get ready to go to the dentist.  Hope I have a better time of it than BK.

Vibes to BK and hopes your mouth is feeling much better!

DR ELMORE the Dream-O-Matic says that your dream indicates you love your work - but that you especially love working with your friends and that you sometimes feel you would do a better job casting projects that you see than those who actually do the job.  In passing, you also approve of MR BK's work in whichever area he happens to be working in at the moment.

Thank you, DR JRand61. I am going to send you a lovely and tasteful gift in the near future.

Good afternoon already from the Amsterdam airport, where I have an eight-hour layover. Ugh.

How did I miss the fact you were already traveling?

Good morning to all on this bustin' out June morning.  What an amazing and wonderful break in the weather.  The open window sleeping, and the morning here... all PERFECT.

Friday morning greetings!  After last night's thunderstorm, we're having some lovely, cool rain.  I'm off in a couple of hours to have lunch with the Butler County grantwriters, after which Richard and I will go to the Y.

Whoa.  Hold the phone a moment.
With that there above post, I seem to have become a Sr. Member.

Does this mean:  (1) I'm now eligible for those discounts heretofore automatically granted by those young things at Dunkin' Donuts and in the AMC ticket booth?  Or (2) that I shall henceforth be addressed as Señor Smith?

Thank you DR Danise. Of course, I made the silly mistake of wearing shoes which I don't usually wear!

TOD

Turntable:  I took out a stack of Enoch Light to clean on the machine and enjoy this weekend.  I believe this requires cocktails.

Blu-ray:  A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS.  After all these years, my first ever foray into the spaghetti.  Planning to watch 'em all over the coming week.

TOD:

We recorded HATFIELDS AND THE McCOYS and watched the first segment last night.

I thought it was pretty good and reasonably historically accurate.

[I had no idea that was Tom Berenger under that beard.]

So, if no new DVDs arrive, we'll watch the remaining 2 segments this weekend.

Regartdless of how accurate it may or may not be, I guess I didn't care enough about either the Hatfields or the McCoys to devote three nights to them.

Back from the dentist.  I have to get a bridge.  I guess you would call it a tooth bridge not a foot bridge.  After some thought, I wonder if it should be a foot bridge for those times I put my foot in my mouth!

I'm watching part 2 now as I type this.  I like historical drama's.  I think it just proves that more things change, the more things stay the same.  They were just two gangs no different than the street gangs of today.  What's that saying about those who don't learn from the past are condemned to repeat it?

The earliest that the manufacturers can come to repair my fridge/freezer is 11 June which I think is extremely poor service from a major supplier.
