Dusty Towne....now there's a talent!

I saw Dusty Rhodes play baseball here in Tacoma in the late 50s.

I think I might go and see Prometheus in 3D tomorrow. It's the sort of film I'd like to see on the big screen.

Matthew - Will you be able to see ROCKY while in Germany?  (I'm bad with geography.)

DR FJL, I'm just as bad.  I know Munich is towards the south.  Other than that, forget it.  What I really want to see is the original production of Starlight Express that's still playing in Bochum.  But I can never find it on a map  LOL

Back from a bacon cheeseburger and no fries, and, shockingly, picking up no packages.

Thank you, sir!

The DP and I are going to Munich for a week in August.  Four days after our return, I'm heading to Walt Disney World to practice my guru skills on a teacher I work with and her 2 kids and mom.  In the meantime, I have to work in order to afford to go!!!

I liked Munich.

Finally worked out where my bathroom leak was coming from. The plumber has been round and fixed it within minutes. Another problem solved  :)

Last night I re-watched the first fifteen minutes of the Tony Awards and spotted another funny bit I missed Sunday night.  I won't spoil it for anyone--all I'll say is to pay attention during the opening BOOK OF MORMON number when James Earl Jones opens his dressing room door...

I think someone here already mentioned it, but that was pretty funny! :D

Thank you to all who assured me that I was not crazy in regards to the natives at the Tony Awards.  I kept wiating for them to appear in one of the production numbers, but they never did.

I've been to Munich. It's about two hours from my sister's home, but it's probably 10 hours or so from Hamburg.

For the flood outside that has forced us to turn all the water off, inside and out.  I'm about to go see if Keith was able to stop it at the source.  Understandably he is rather cranky at the moment.  Digging up plumbing isn't fun.

Correction, the plumbing is still in tact but most of the dirt around it has been dug.  Keith has dug out a ton of dirt so far and is still digging.  He is definitely not happy.

I just had a thought.  I hope there is enough water for him to take a shower after all that digging.  Poor guy if not.

And I m home from the mixing session. The final mix is finished and ready to be mastered. The Act Three Opening took us two and a half hours, and we assembled it in seven sections: orchestra openng and piper, first half of the choir boys, second half, the big dance, Dinny's Serenade, Lady Maude's solo, and the chorus response and playout. Everything else went smoothly and finished quickly. Then we ran through both CDs, timing spacings between the humbers. I have some liner notes to work on, and then I will veg out.
