I never took typing, and sometimes wish I had. I did lose a potential job with a publishing company in New York because of it (well, that and it wasn't paid and the company didn't think I could do it for free since I didn't live in the city).

But I wonder: Who was Vixmom's typing teacher?  ;D

I've been sworn to secrecy

Last night after we finished watching the 1956 Sci Fi movie WORLD WITHOUT END Keith turned on his iPad to read notes about the movie.  After reading a bit of trivia he opened a page on the actresses.  I said I wonder if DR MBarnum interviews any of them.  Two seconds later Keith began laughing and read"According to Mike Barnum......"

I love it!!!

I'm home.  Flight got in a half-hour early, which was nice.  Was home by four-thirty, but had so much to do - unpacked, got the singers their sheet music via e-mail, went and had an omelet and two bagels, came home, answered a plethora of e-mails, was slightly dismayed to find my Dr. Chew appointment is tomorrow - don't know why I would have done that and I REALLY don't want to go, but must.

It would be funny if someone wanted to make a musical out of the non-musical movie that Stephen Sondheim co-wrote. :D

Pathetic.  A "minor cult" - that is gilding the lily, I'm afraid.  And "a search for a writer is underway."  IF this thing happens, a) it will be an instant flop, much like the original, and b) it won't be seeing the light of day until what, 2014?

Well, it's late and I'm still at work.  Time to go home.

Until later!

I wonder if the remake will be the four hours that the original was intended to be.

Beautiful kitties. I hope they do well together and that your parents are happy with them together.

Thanks Laura.  Thie cats are just hissing now and then and ignoring each other.  It's only been a couple days.  i told mom that when she least expects it, she'll find them curled up together.  Mom and Dad love animals, I think mom's biggest worry is that they'll outlive her and she's afraid of what will happen.  She still says she'd give them away if they found the right home....she'll never find a home that's good enough :)

Great news for Lucy and Lily. I am not even a cat person. But that story made me so happy.

Thanks Jennifer.  My parents make me laugh.  We all (including mom) knew if she got attached to the cat at all that she couldn't let it go.  I think that's why she was saying "get her right now", lol.  Too late...

The Vertigo script was here upon my return.  It's pretty amazing, I have to say.  It has a final scene that's not in the film, although it was shot and is, I believe, in the special features on the DVD, there called the "censorship ending."  I knew it wasn't that - it was in the script, not designated that way.

The new book continues to sell well at amazon in all formats, which is surprising.  The Kindle is now at 37,000 in the ranking, whereas usually it hovers at 200,000.
