I really like Ben Davis, who's not only a good singer but a good man.  I wish we had more time to visit, but I've got him in mind for some vocal work in the future.  He's really excellent on the KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY recording.

George, those are blatant bootlegs - they know Warners and Universal won't be bothered to come after them - it's taken from vinyl and sounds like crap.  And it makes companies like mine even more reluctant to release them.

So, did anyone know (or care) that Donnybrook! is now available as a CD-R from Amazon?  It also has not one, but two different downloadable MP3 options!  The CD-R was just released two weeks ago.

The samples all sound like the exact same samples.

I have never heard of it.

DR TCB - the middle school group is doing THE TEMPEST...and the high school group is doing THE TEMPEST IN PARADISE....both adapted by Caroline Good, who is very good at working with young people.

She is the blonde lady in the first photo.....she runs the Costume Department over at DePauw University, and has been in several plays I directed.....she and husband Tim are both very talented.

Back from a lovely retirement reception for Belinda, who I hired to work in the local campus library 31 years ago.  While there I also had nice chats with Anne and Joanne, who I also hired.  They've both retired - Anne last year from another library and Joanne 2 years ago from the campus.  The only legacy I have left now at that library is the shut-down between Christmas and New Year's.

Did a three mile walk (well it's better than nothing!) and as I'd only had a tomato and tiny piece of ham for breakfast, I stopped off for a bacon, tomato and cheese baguette - I only ate half the bread though.

Did I miss something?  Are you dieting?  It would have been easier to diet when you didn't have a frig.

I'm not dieting. I'm just trying to ensure that I do a bit of exercise now and again.

Back from the aviation debate which was interesting but we were outnumbered by the greeny, environmental, anti-flying lobby.

Which type of flying are you trying to promote or protect?  Private/General Aviation?

BK, you are listed on the Arkiv release of WORKING as "Reissue Producer."

Basically London's main airport Heathrow is at maximum capacity but political parties have ruled out expansion due to environmental issues but offer no alternatives, to the dismay of airlines who want to offer more flights.

I wondered about that.
