Today I went hiking with a friend at the river. We saw several herds of mustangs.

The temperature here is only in the mid-sixties, but those little rain showers have really increased the humidity.

I've had some dinner and I'm contemplating what I wll do tonight. I may watch some movies on VHS thathave not yet made it to CD, like the Disney "The Sword AndThe Rose" aka "When Knighthood Was In Flower," with Glynis Johns and Richard Todd or "Mack The Knife," which I keep turning off because the choreography is dreadful.  It's Brecht, for God's sake, not OLIVER!

I bought myself a ticket for the Thursday July 5 matinee of ONE MAN TWO GUVNORS. I am looking forward to it.

I didn't know what tilapia was either.  All of a sudden, just a few years ago, it seemed to be everywhere.  Right out of nowhere.  It's a nice fish.  As DR TCB said.  Mild.  Nice.  Goes with anything!

The did the same thing, at least out here, about twenty five years ago with Orange Roughy.  I had never heard of it until the supermarkets started giving Samples of this terrific new fish.

Yes.  When these things happen it's as though someone had just invented a new fish.

I have no plans to see a travesty of a piece I like very much. I'm sorry, DR TCB, but the arrogance and stupidity of the creative team and what they've done to the work violates all I believe in.

It's the truth! It's the fish equivalent of the color ecru for designers.

It seems like the big new thing here is blood oranges.

What the hell is a blood orange? It sounds like a problem for the ER.

I was pretty sure that was your fellings about the production, but I wasn't sure.  I totally agree with you.

I thought it was what Anita Bryant tried to suck out of the gay movement in Florida.

All I did was to go into my Settings to see if they had changed my e-mail address (they had not).  I didn't change anything.  The two sidebars are fine, but the wall itself is blank.

What is talapia?  That was their fish this weekend but I know not what it is.
It's an innocuous white fish that's being heavily farm-raised now and supposedly in deplorable conditions. Preaching aside, it's supposedly fish for people who don't like fish.

What the hell is a blood orange? It sounds like a problem for the ER.
It's a wonderful orange where the flesh and the juice are blood red, though the skin is orange. The taste is sweeter, a little less acidic than regular oranges. They grow in Sicily and Southern California. Very trendy. We made a blood orange-rum gelato in Italy  and I have friends who make blood orange margaritas every Friday.

Now the roughy is almost fished out.
