In from dinner and don't feel like doing too much work tonight. Which means I'll be staring at the screen wondering why I'm getting no work done.

Evening all.

So sorry to hear about Andy Griffith.

I also have to ask for some very special vibes for Thelma's friend and neighbor, John, who is in Hospice.  Thelma was told he has less than 24 hours to live.  This is the same place that Mom was before they moved her to the Hospice House in Sun City.  Vibes please for peace and a pain free passing.

John was at the Christmas party at Thelma's and we all saw then that something was wrong because he was talking slow and kinda funny.  It turned out he has a brain tumor.

Just watched a Swedish thriller called Sebastian Bergman - a two-part thing - obviously it never spawned another film, but it was quite good thanks to the good actors.

Watching "Hugo." It's sweet.

Anyone ever watch the UK series, Cracker?  Just read some reviews of Sebastain Bergman that liken it to that series, which sounds like that might be something to get?

I am heading to my friend Sabrina's for a BBQ.  I'll be making a red white and blue trifle.  Just don't know how yet.  Details at 11:00.

Looks like this partay I was invited to is not happening - apparently the forecast wherever it is is for a gloomy, gray day, so they may be coming into my neck of the woods.  I told them if they'd like to swim or play here they're more than welcome.

Robbie Coltrane was Cracker in the British version, and it was great.

They did an American remake with the guy who played Eldon on Murphy Brown. It was not so good. In fact, it was fairly lousy.

I just cancelled my registration, hotel room and flight to the National flute convention.  It really sounded like fun, but for what I would have gotten out of it, it was really too expensive.   Now I have credit for a trip on Southwest Airlines.  It isn't just the money though, after the newness of the idea wore off, I just wasn't as interested any more.  I still want to play, just don't need to go to the convention
