Well, you've read the notes, the notes walked a mile for a camel, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently walking a mile for a camel.

Good morning, all! I have been up for some time, dealing with emails, banking and laundry. I wanted to use this free morning to do the week's laundry, and this weekend I may have another round depending how dirty this move out goes today.

When the laundry is finished, around 9AM, I will get myself ready for the day, stop at the post office on my way downtown and post a few corrected scores to Dublin. I meet Skip Kennon around 2 at Toyland, and I hope that he and I can move a few items of furniture about to empty one of the rooms.

I expect the movers any time between 4:30 and 5:00, and I hope this evacuation is painless and easy.

Keep them vibes coming!

I'm still awaiting word on when the move in occurs. Part of my weekend will be spent packing and sealing cartons here that I want the movers to cart down to the office for me: reference books and music that I can use there. We've got another week to accomplish that, but I want to be ready for the movers ASAP.

Well, Skip just sent me an email that he is in bad health, so there will be no moving furniture today. I will ponder my next plan of attack.

TOD:
DVD:  Brit series MONDAY MONDAY, THE MENTALiST (Seasons 1 &2)
CD:  EILEEN, BBC MY FAIR LADY broadcast
VCR: Oy!

Last night's audience was the most responsive we have had during the run.  And of course that inspired the cast to be even better.

Hopefully we will have an equally responsive crowd tonight.

It is Friday, but I only have to work a half day.  Hurray!!!

Of course today, Michel, through his banking career and his marriage to Catherine, the heir to the Heineken brewing fortune, is worth about 4.2 billion dollars.

What a horrible story coming out of Aurora, Colo., this morning about the shooting at the show of the new Batman movie.

Jealous (or is it envious?) of seeing Lawrence at the Samuel.  Not to mention Arabia at the Goldwyn.

CD:  Seems to be empty at the moment.

DVD:  WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH HELEN? last night, WHOEVER SLEW AUNTIE ROO? tonight.  Also, some Marx Brothers.

Loving the change in weather.  Yesterday was the first day in I Don't Know How Long that the a/c was off all day, windows were open, and nary a fan was turned on.  Woke in the middle of the night to the most beautiful, perfect sound of a soft but solid steady rain...which continues even now.  Most perfect sound and temperature for sleeping, ever.

Well, God love our DR FJL! He just called me  to volunteer to come to Toyland this afternoon and help me out. He and Skip are two of the best. He also alerted me to the news about the shooting in Denver. WTF?

I'm sure if Anthony was here he would help you also. He's on Long Island this weekend and I'm headed there after work. I have an appointment with the optometrist tomorrow morning and then we are attending a surprise 75th birthday party for Anthony's aunt-in-law. He saw the eye doctor yesterday and he will be getting new glasses. I don't expect to get new glasses, since I got new ones last year.

I'm still a day behind.  Since the world insists on this being Friday, I have no choice but to play along. But I KNOW it's Thursday, dammittohell.
