Well we have reached the pinnacle of something.....or maybe the nadir:

We are well below the nadir if Green Acres is coming.

Could I have an order of ground glass with a drano chaser, please?

Actually, I can see this half-working.  A great deal of the scenes in GREEN ACRES played like vaudeville routines, so I wouldn't doubt that a stage show could have a funny book. I'm not sure how the songs would work, though.  I think this will wind up as a very old-fashioned show.  Not that I would mind seeing anything like that but today's audiences would probably be bored by it.

Someone on All That Chat suggested Jane Krakowski as Lisa--I t'ink she vould be vonderful, dahlink!

I've caught a few episodes of GREEN ACRES last week on MeTV and I was ROTFLMAO.

Well, maybe not ROTF, but I certainly LMAO...

Here are a couple of photos of Annette Funicello's Studio City house....from the 1960's....Annette is not in either photo....the street address seems to be 4201.....so I am not sure if this is the house now lived in by MR BK's annoying neighbors and kin to Miss Annette.

Well it seems Richard L. Bare (one of the ex-husbands of Phyllis Coates) - got the rights for GREEN ACRES from the widow of it's creator and has been hawking a television revival since 2007 - so maybe the 99-year-old Bare has now set his sites on Broadway instead.

I haven't been to Canada since I was a child and then it was to Windsor, which is just across the bridge from Detroit. My grandparents had relatives there and if I recall correctly, my great grandparents lived there but I have only very vague memories of them.

When we lived in Michigan we drove to Windsor a few times.  I went with Keith or friends.  The idea was to stop at the duty free shop before returning home.

I can have no fried food for 24 hours.

Really?  I don't remember this ruling.

I'm very glad you survived.  Did they need to do any biopsies?

Sleep well.  I always have a nap afterwards while Keith is up and about.

Are we sure that's Annette's house?  If so, I'm staring at it right now as it's across the street from me to the west on my side of the street.  That's not what I was told by a neighbor who's lived her for years.  But 4201 and that curb number is viewable right outside my kitchen window.  THAT house is covered by shrubbery but I'll go look at the outside of it later.

Good morning, all.

Many vibes to Elmore this morning.

And vibes for the rest of us.

George, I think all is well. Except even the uninstall program from Ben hasn't taken away the text enhancer, which seems to be a virus that I'll have to deal with somehow. I just bought McAfee a month or so ago; maybe they'll be able to help. (Thanks again, Ben; getting rid of Ask was helpful.)

DR JohnG, your book arrived today!
I feel honored that you bought a copy, especially since you're not likely to get to San Antonio any time soon. I mean, when the theatrical choices are between "Hairspray" and "Hello, Dolly!" what else is there to do?

It's the Anti Christ!
I once thought the third or fourth attempt at having a "Brady Bunch" show was the anti-Christ, too. Then so much worse stuff (including those two Kims: Kardasian and Il Jong) happened. Blech.
