I think there's a law about batteries. It's happened to me more than once.

I gotta tell you. The foolish people brigade are out in huge numbers, Follies-wise - I must have had fifty e-mails asking why people haven't received their CD that wasn't slated to ship until the end of August. So far I think I've managed to hold some semblance of civility, but it's crumbling fast.

Are you familiar with the "Last 70MM Film Festival" presented by AMPAS at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater. Left to be shown are: The Sound Of Music, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Spartacus.

They should Grand Prix, It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World and Sleeping Beauty already. They had surviving cast members onstage and being interviewed before the movie.

Thank heaven they found that weirdly filed eight track session master because I REALLY didn't want to use the old album mix. One More Kiss is the only track where I actually had to "fix" something - know one has figured it out or noticed it yet. On the original CD (wherever that awful mix came from) at the final note, you'll notice that young Heidi stops early and then they quickly fade out old Heidi, which is WRONG. On the tapes it's obvious what happened and their attempt to fix it is ludicrous - young Heidi was very hoarse - it was the last thing recorded - and she simply stopped singing early instead of holding her note out to the end. Old Heidi holds her note properly to the end. With a little digital trickery, they are both holding the note now and it's finally correct.

Remeberr Jennifer, a lot of the "all-stars" may have no desire to do this competition again.

I heard yesterday on the news that Derek was leaving the show to make a movie.

There are still plenty of good dancers who wanted to do it.

I think Derek said this was going to be his last season. Not sure if it's forever. Hope not. Him and his sister have been my favorite pros. They are such talented choreographers.

Nope, you're not wrong. AC is not built in for most buildings like Larry's and mine (meaning central air). You usually have a unit in the window. The stove and fridge are part of the apartment.
