*In short:

-I flew into SFO. A good flight.
-I start rehearsals tomorrow morning in Palo Alto.
-They are housing us in San Jose. *Rental cars have been provided for all of us.

DR Cillaliz - Hotel rates in NYC during the holidays are... well... Not cheap.

I'd start by checking out sites like Booking.com, Roomkey.com, Hotels.com, etc., and seeing what kind of deals come up there. -And then go directly to a couple of hotel websites and see if those rates can be matched or beaten. Otherwise, book as early as you can.
