Last night I watched the 1978 BBC broadcast of Chekhov's THE SEAGULL, with Mr Stephen Rea as Constantin and Zoe Caldwell as Mme Arkadina. Both were quite wonderful, and I really enjoyed Georgina Hale - who is in Ken Russell's films THE BOY FRIEND, MAHLER, and THE DEVILS - as Masha. If I have time to kill this afternoon, I will watch THE DOCTOR AND THE DEVILS.

Time for laundry.  Please keep those vibes coming!

TIME FOR LAUNDRY?  Wasn't that the sequel to Andy Griffith's NO TIME FOR LAUNDRY?  Or was it the Dallas Cowboys NO TIME FOR LANDRY?

Morning all.

In other news, we had some sky writers this morning.  U and God = :) was one message.
And since I still have time to do it

Oh, that was probably the Romney Vice Presidential Announcement!

Jane, you can watch regular DVDs on a Blu-Ray player, you can't do the reverse (watch a Blu-Ray on a standard DVD player) The same goes for computer. If you have a Blu-Ray drive you can watch any DVD but if you have a standard DVD drive you can't watch Blu-Ray.

Morning all.

I am also sorry I missed Dear Vixmom and wasn't able to wish her good travel vibes.  I was so tired last night that I went to bed around seven.  I do not know why I can't shake this "don't feel good feeling" and thought the extra sleep would help.  I woke around ten thirty last evening, took care of some things, and went back to bed and fell asleep right away.

I feel rested but just not quite up to snuff today.  I plan on relaxing and doing nothing more than watching some tv and posting on and off all day today.  I did have to take Sheena up to get her leg rewrapped.  That didn't take long.

Poor girl.  She really doesn't like having her leg wrapped at all and the vet was amazed she was able to get the splint off.

In other news, we had some sky writers this morning.  U and God = :) was one message.  I had to take Sheena to the vet so the other message or messages were gone by the time I got back.

I don't know why that was done but it was fun to watch as they were writing it.

I've been doing nothing lately but watch the Olympics - and I'm not even a sports fan! I would have got tickets if I'd been able to but I have managed to get a ticket for the Paralympics next month so at least I'll be able to get into that wonderful stadium.

Maybe you will get to see Oscar Pistorius race!

Feel-better vibes to you, Danise.

I find something like that's especially annoying on a Saturday morning when you can't just get to a doctor without making a whole big "emergency" of it; it's not serious enough, but you have a feeling something's wrong, is that it?
Sort of.   I can't say it's a headache or stomach ache or "I'm coming down with a cold" feeling, I don't have a fever--it's just a very general "blah" that I can't shake.  I can only say I just don't feel right/good but I don't think a doctor would help because I can't tell him what is wrong.

Add some anti-blah vibes then!

Thank you.  This is what we thought.  Since a regular DVD didn't work last night I hope we won't have a problem with the Blue-Ray today, once we pick it up.

Craig isn't have a very good trip & has spent up to two hours in the evening finding a place to sleep.  This morning he decided to take a side trip to see one of the great landmarks of this country. ;D

Knowing for sure a regular DVD should work Keith was able to easily fix the problem.

We look forward to our first Blue-Ray experience tonight.

Just went shopping for a few things, and even though I was doing it via air-conditioned automobile, I'm officially declaring what we're in now the official dog days of summer.

Not that we haven't had many others.  I think it just finally got to me.

Larry, do you have time to run down and get some AirBorne or something similar?  If not, can you pick it up, at twice the price, at the airport?

I called a car service to pick me up at 6:00. I'm havnig cramps in my  lower right abdomen, which is stressing me out, and my first reaction was APPENDICITIS! Who knows? I may spend two weeks in a Dublin hospital. Oh, God, I hope not.

I must confess, I thought Matthew Perry's new series, GO ON, was much better than I had expected it to be.  I will have to see a few more episodes first, before I call it a success, but it is much better than the previews made it look.

Back from doing the radio show - it's all about Follies and will be up and running tomorrow, so be sure to tune in and listen.  Then I had a sandwich, picked up two packages and now I'm in.

Not sure if NBC is showing the Olympics live this afternoon. But this afternoon I just witnessed the most upsetting thing I've seen on the Olympics (anyways affects Canada not US team).  :(

Can you post the upsetting thing? Or would it be a spoiler?

I mean it!

I am feelng better now!

Thank you all for the vibes. I will be happy when I'm out of this dreadful humidity and landing in Dublin. I checked the temperature there. It's around 67 today, but the humidity is high.

Oh No!  I hope I'm not too let to tell you to take a decongestant before you fly.
