I gave a copy of the DVD ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE to one of my coworkers today. I feel a grand sense of accomplishment.

What was the response of the recipient?

It was hard to tell, DR JohnG. I think it was a mix of emotions. Probably just overwhelmed with graditude or something.

That would be my conclusion as well.

Duly noted.

I know I feel as if I've learned the secret handshake now that I own my very own copy.

Good Afternoon!

Today's final set of auditions and callbacks were, well... Wonderful. Some people truly stepped up their game, others surprised again with their imagination and talent. Alas, all of the goodness made the final winnowing down a bit difficult. It was one of those situations where if we could have cast everyone, we would have. It's always hard letting some people go. However, we have great people in the "back-up" slots in case any of our first choices end up turning down the offer. A true abundance of riches.

Congrats to Jane on her milestone. Forgot to past that last night.

It appears Doug R has reached one, too.

A very mini-milestone  :)

There is an elderly woman in back of me who has not been off her cell phone since I sat down.  She calls everyone she knows to tell them she'll be boarding soon.  What did everyone do before cell phones?  They got by perfectly fine.

But nobody knew where anyone was  ;D

I went out to do some errands - returning library materials, banking, a little shopping.

LOL! Thankfully, I purchased that lobby card set 20 years ago when it was but a fraction of that price. And I still have the set.

Anyhoo -

Back permanently for a while from my travels abroad and otherwise.  Happy to be back at home with the DP, who of course is working, and the DD's.  Back to Legally Blonde which opens in close to 2 weeks.

Trip to Orlando was lots of fun.  Went to a Disney Water Park - Typhoon Lagoon - which was a lot of fun.

Kinda tired today as yesterday was long.

Oh!  I was going to post Jane's 45000th post plateau, but Photobucket doesn't seem to be working.  I can't log in!  I keep getting the message:

Quote
Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to login.photobucket.com.

Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s).

(Error code: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap)

I got that message yesterday afternoon...not a good sign.

I'm sorry it isn't working.  Thanks anyway.  Had you not told me I reached a plateau I would never had known.
