Back from my 2 meetings.  I actually had about 90 minutes here at home between them, during which I ate pizza with Richard and had surprise phone calls from my sister and my son.  Tomorrow there's nothing on my calendar and I'm looking forward to a trip to the Y.

I spent the day chasing butterflies.

I wish I could have pulled over to photograph the raging water flowing through the park, which is designed for these summer storm runoffs.

Laura, hopefully the rains will help the dry conditions there. We could really use some rain in North Dakota. It is getting very dry here.

Tonight's Restaurant Week treats: A plate of roasted golden beets with oranges, a farro salad and a white bean salad; tagliatelli with wild mushrooms; seared ahi tuna over eggplant; a ricotta cake with mascarpone.
