First post!

Well, I slept a little better last night.  I am looking forward to the 3 day weekend.

Vibes to all!  Hope your computer is doing better, BK.  Wishing they would come and fix your AC, DR Elmore!

Have a wonder filled day all while I go into battle once again.

Good morning, all! I slept an hour later than I had meant to. At 3:30am I was wide awake and I slept fitfully between then and 7:15 when I decided to get out of bed. I will shortly head to Toyland, unpack a bit and deal with some ROBERTA questions.

Today seems like Friday to me.

Good morning, all.

Had a very solid sleep, thanks to the perfect -- PERFECT -- temperature.  Couple of dreams near the end turned into a repeating annoyance, which is unfortunate because there had been something interesting about them up till that moment, but I can't quite piece together what the proceedings were supposed to be.  I have a few of the images, but they make no real sense now.

The coffee shop was full of children running around. As a child in the '50s, I and my siblings were taught to sit still at table yet nowadays parents let children run amock with no consideration for others.

I do like to have a good moan in the moaning morning  :)

I can't believe it.  One reason I've awakened at four EVERY morning is because the back sprinklers have gone on - why is anyone's guess.  Today they went on at four, then five and now just went on again.  I went out there and it's not MY sprinklers it's the stupid neighbors' sprinklers which are right near my bedroom window.  They will be getting a visit from me this morning.  I should damn well go over there right now and pound on their door.

This is going to cause me some serious harm if I don't get some sleep soon.

Thursday morning greetings!  Today's a shopping-with-Mom day, so I'll be away a good bit.  For your entertainment, here's something fun:

What book was selling well when YOU were born?

This is the fiction list.  There's also a link to the nonfiction list.

Good morning, all.

Dreadful traffic this morning. Made me a half-hour late for work. Ugh.

I hope no one else has wretched traffic for the rest of the week.

TOD

AIRPORT (and, yes, its horrible sequels)
AIRPLANE
WINGS
THE FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX (original)
THOSE MAGNIFICENT MEN IN THEIR FLYING MACHINES
THE SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS
THE LAST FLIGHT OF NOAH’S ARK
FATE IS THE HUNTER
THE STEWARDESSES

Wait -- have I even seen that last one?  Not sure.  Nevertheless, it's a favorite.
