I am not a GLEE fan, but I had intended to catch THE NEW NORMAL last night. I do miss MattH and his daily tv rundown. I don't believe I saw a single new tv program last season.

I don't see how it's GLEE for adults...at all. There's nothing similar about the two shows, as far as I can tell.

Has anyone seen these CVS commercials with the obnoxious Bonnie who pushes her way through the pharmacy as if it were her personal property? It's no wonder there are so many narcissistic people out and about.

I have to put some Neosporin on my finger. I ijured it at Toyland yesterday while I was moving furniture. I believe it's infected.

elmore - "Bonnie" is played by a very delicious friend of ours, and recall she's not the writer or director of the ad, just the actress convincingly doing what the part called for -and she's also the wonderfully charming person in both real life and in the current Advair commercial, among so many others..

If it is infected you are likely to need more than Neosporin. Do you have a red line going down your finger?

It's Glee WITH adults (not for) in that it's Ryan Murphy's same old stuff. I tire of his humor and situations very quickly.

I rode the bike for an hour and 10 minutes today. After I showered, we had dinner then we watched Northanger Abbey, a PBS production from 2007. I have the book on my reader I haven't read it yet) but we watched it anyway. We enjoyed it.

We found The Naked Civil Servant at the library (w/John Hurt) We will most likely watch that tomorrow.

Mata Hari with Greta Garbo, Ramon Novarro and Lionel Barrymore is "in transit" (on my reserve list) at the library so I should have it tomorrow or Friday and we will watch it over the weekend.

I baked and served fresh warm brownies to the landscape guys today. They really enjoyed them. Then I ate too many leftovers. Tomorrow I begin a diet, gotta lose those two pounds I just put on before I accumulate more. It is much easier to lose 2 pounds than 20.

Elmore, delighted to discover you know Lynn Meyers. I know her somewhat and am a big fan of her, her theatre, and the work she does there. Saw her this past Sunday in Cincy at Joseph-Beth Bookstore where she and several other local artistic directors were doing a panel. I was surprised after the event when, while I was talking to one of the other directors, she came up and gave me a big hug.
