As for the Topic of the Day....

Plays:

Art
Red
Sleuth
The Mystery of Irma Vep
Greater Tuna

And if we could extend this to Musicals:
I Do! I Do!
jon & jen
The Last Five Years

I've seen Art and The Last Five Years, and thoroughly enjoyed both.

Several things are weighing quite heavily on my mind today, so I think the best thing to do is go to the Y.  I'll use the treadmill and the NuStep and listen to something upbeat like MAMMA MIA.

Bye for now...

I've also seen a one-man Hamlet that was actually very good.  It was only about an hour and 15 minutes, but it was a great cut of the show and the actor was wonderful.

Funny that today's topic is 2-person plays, because...

Today, I'm announcing my newest play in THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS collection.

It's the first play I've added to the series since the mid-1990s, and it's a 2-charater play.  [The other 8 are only 1-character plays]

It's called NELSON AND JEANETTE and it's available in both paperback and Kindle editions.  It's also available to theatres for licensing.

Here's the trailer on it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRE9FmwiNWY&list=UUQ6z6vyjJFsiqL33qbiSJSQ&index=1&feature=plcp

Very nice, Druxy.  I confess that I know nothing of the real lives of Nelson and Jeanette.  Alos when did you sneak SHADOW WATCHER into the mix?  I don't remember you mentioning that novel before.

And how could I forget...last year, Theater Artists Olympia did a three-man "Hound of the Baskervilles" that was a hoot!  I worked the sound for the show and saw every performance.  I never saw the same show twice, but it was fun every time. :D

And we're back tonight to Legally Blonde featuring Matt Mattei's wall of sound.  Oy.

I see that Seattle Musical Theatre is opening their LEGALLY BLONDE tomorrow night.  I think I will pass on that one.

BUZZ!   You are disqualified.  Those are one and three-person plays, not two or four!

SHADOW WATCHER was published, as I recall, in 2007, but I just recently got permission from my publisher to put it on Kindle.

I am also currently working with a guy to turn it into an audio book.

I'm up, in case anyone hasn't noticed.  Got up around nine, stayed in bed a bit, then had a ninety-minute telephonic conversation about the shortly to be released Hitchcock box set, which was very interesting, then had another hour-long conversation with our very own Mr. Nick Redman about some exciting projects for Kritzerland over the next year, and that's about brought me to this point.  Thankfully, no annoying e-mail this morning, although I'm sure I'll get one at some point.

Doesn't the C in "TCB" usually stand for "care" - so it's almost like "care" is his middle name?

Hmm, should I "unlist" this Paula Deen - LEGALLY BLONDE - Barbara Walters mash-up now that BOTH Walters and Deen have revealed they have health problems?

Who knew when this was done (I guess they knew, but it wasn't public info!)

SO MUCH BUTTER - an old heart-clogging spoof, in honor of Matthew's Legally Blonde sound problems

I love the New York Soda Law.  I can only buy a 16 0unce 7-Up in the city, but if I ask them to add a shot of booze, I can get any size I want.
