Busy day.  Had a sandwich and no fries, and have been doing a ton of stuff for the October show.  It's been crazy.  Picked up several packages.

Four pages are better than three.   Much better than three.

Lawse yes.

M-O-O-N, that spells four pages.

There is also a recording of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC with SIAN PHILLIPS as Desiree

This one is a "chamber orchestra" arrangement that, as well as I can recall now, I found imaginative and tasteful, better than many reduced orchestrations.  A couple of things irritated, but I'd have to go through it to find them.

The orchestrations on this disc were written for the Chichester Festival by my friend John Owen Edwards who conducted the performances and the recording. I have a full score; they're quite good.

And then there's the one with Frederica Von Stade. Or is that the one?

There's a recording with Frederica Von Stade??

I don't think so.

Ah, life in a swing state.  So far this evening we've received calls from (and hung up on) Sherrod Brown and Mitt Romney.

And another loooooong day is over.  I had an endless meeting lasting from 10:15 to 3:00 with TMFP, who can unfortunately be a windbag at times,. Oy!

However, all is good and I am home.

I will be in bed early since I have to be on the East Side by 9am for a bone density test.

Are you in Mitt's 47% or 53%?

I suspect our status as public sector retirees would put us in the 47%

This is one of those days that continually waffles between being fun and being irritating.  Maybe it would be all fun if instead of waffling it was pancaking.

No matter who calls I always say "we don't take political calls" and they say goodbye.  Of course if it is a recording I simply hang up. :)

Women who wear anything larger than a size 8 do  not need sleeveless dresses - have you seen the upper arms of women of certain weight?''

Give us sleeves!!!!!

;D  I feel the same way.  I need something to wear for my nieces wedding in Cozumel and everything I see that is suitable for the event is sleeveless.

I hope you can find some time to walk around the city a bit.  The buildings are beautiful.

What I hate is that the sleeves in everything at Coldwater Creek are teeny tiny.  So they are there but you cant' move your arms

On the political side there were people walking through my yard with clip boards.  They may have knocked on my door, but I didn't hear it, just saw them walking by the window

I've had the Obama people ask me to volunteer about 4-5 times in the last few weeks.  I'm really tempted to say yes and tell people what I think about him, but I'm not like that.

I'm sorry Cilla, my problem is all of their clothes are too big for me.  I have the same problem with Chico's.  I used to wear their clothes & I haven't shrunk.

Next time I'm at the mall I'm going to have to check out those sleeves compared to the rest of the fit-lol

We had a call a few days ago from a PAC inviting us to work a phone bank.  We declined.
