Anyhoo...
When I headed out earlier, I biked over the river and through the neighborhoods to Pok Pok:
http://www.pokpokpdx.com/homePok Pok has become quite the foodie destination, and after dining there tonight, I have to agree with all of the press, good word of mouth, hype and press. I went ahead and ordered their Chef Andy Ricker's signature versions of classic Thai dishes:
Papaya Pok Pok
Ike's Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings
Sticky Rice
And I washed it all down with one of their Drinking Vinegars (yes, vinegar): Rhubarb. And I finished off the evening with a Whiskeysoda Float.
It was a great first meal in PDX.
