However...

My friend, David, is running the 5K in tomorrow morning's AIDS Walk Chicago. And, well... I'm going to join him and do the Walk part. :)

Since my original schedule was to fly back on Sunday/tomorrow, I truly made no plans, so... And this will be a truly worthwhile to wrap up what's been a most amazing two weeks.

:)

Grey Gardens was quite good.  Weird, but understandably so, in Act Two, but good nonetheless.  Now the cast recording (s) will make sense.

Goodnight

And now, I must be off.  I'm going with my niece and my sister's boyfriend (my sister isn't feeling well today) to see a local reading of Dustin Lance Black's "8" at The Washington Center for the Performing Arts.  Several friends of mine are in it.  And right next door on the main stage is the Seattle Men's Chorus.  Actually, I was supposed to usher for the chorus but couldn't because the tickets to "8" were purchased before I realized it.  Anyway, it'll be a very interesting evening.

Until later!

"8" was great!  It was very well done!  Since it was a staged reading, everyone had their scripts, but they were all very good actors.  The audience was full.  I don't think that there was an empty seat in the house.  And the audience talk-back after the show was interesting and very polite.  I don't think that any non-supporters were there (or at least, they didn't make themselves known and challenge the stance that the play takes), but the actor who played the Prop 8 proponent lawyer brought up the fact that the play contains just a selection of what was said during the trial to make the author's point...but it makes a very compelling point.  Highly recommended if anyone gets a chance to see it.

I just finished watching the last episode of this season's Doctor Who.  I hope that it's no spoiler (it was announced at the beginning of the season) that Amy and Rory are leaving the show.  It happened on tonight's episode.  I will miss them. :(
