The show also got pretty bad reviews. Jackson was spared for the most part and it was the play that was most criticized but it sounds pretty dull and unfunny. I was surprised it never went on TDF. I would have bought a ticket just to see CJ and Daniel Breaker (he's very good, I liked him in the hot mess called Passing Strange and he was very good as Donkey in Shrek).

Tonight's movie was LEON MORIN, PRIEST by Jean-Pierre Melville (1961) which features a very young (four years before RAPTURE) but nevertheless charming Patricia Gozzi. Very interesting film. I'd say it's pretty unique regardless of who'd made it, and it's apparently not at all typical of Melville (whose films I've only seen bits and pieces of) or Jean-Paul Belmondo.

I would think they would hold on until after the Thanksgiving weekend with the hope of a bump in the attendance. What good religious American family visiting NYC for the holiday wouldn't include the Macy's Parade and Cheyenne Jackson naked on their schedule?
