It is a Canon. All the birds were pretty far away. So the photos aren't that good.

I did indeed take a few photos at the sewage ponds:

Very nice, Laura.

I shall shortly be on my way to dinner way out in the Hills of Woodland.  Hoping that traffic isn't insane.

No zoom?

And, obviously, no teleportation device!

To belatedly answer TCB's question yesterday, the stuffing is almost my single favorite thing on the Thanksgiving dinner table.  Like a good actor, its flavor and texture qualities are unique!

Thank you, Chas, my opinion exactly.  My sister and I were discussing Thanksgiving dinner, and she refers to stuffing as wet bread!

Watching The Dust Bowl.   I love Ken Burns' work.   Really glad I got to see him in person

She knows nothing! My mother made good stuffing, but she was a good cook.

On her saner holidays.

The politicians are already arriving for the next Presidential election.   Anyone else want to be first in the nation?

I set two different episodes to watch but I'm confused as to which one to watch first. I didn't see the episodes named on the link or on IMDB.

Keith's cousin called to tell us about her emergency landing today.  The door wouldn't stay closed.  The biggest deal was the flight attendant who was overly excited about the landing.  Fortunately other attendants told her everything would be ok.  When she complained to the overly excited attendant he said he was Hawaiian, whatever that means.

DR Cillaliz do you have a pick for Dancing With the Stars? I really love all the groups but one (Emmitt). He just doesn't do it for me. I feel he nowhere near the same calibre as the other dancers. I would be happy with any of the other four winning. I really don't even want him to get to the finale.

Actually some friends brought a savory cheesecake to the party Saturday. It was green chile cheesecake on a blue corn crust. They were served in cupcake wrappers with a dollop of chile jam on top. Sweet-spicy and wonderful. I may have to make those soon.

I'm sorry, no way.  :P ;D

I agree...that would not go well at my family's get-together, at all. :-X
It's not a dessert. It's a side dish to the main course.

Went to a fun gathering of artists who put together a cookbook that features both recipes and artwork. Some beautiful stuff. Looking forward to using it.

Also, Kathie Lee's "Under the Bridge," at all of 90 cents, arrived today. Good singers (Florence Lacey, Jacquelyn Piro). Hoping something in it is good. But I have my doubts.
