I haven't quite decided if WE'RE putting it up (I hate the way they do their business in terms of us, with them taking 60%) but I think it will end up there via CD Baby or something - I've never given CD Baby that option before but have now.I don't know what CD Baby is, so can we post reviews on it? I was listening to the beginning of the CD today on my way home after my book finished, And fell for a whole new set of the songs on this listen, especially "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm." Love that arrangement and the sly, fun way Sandy sings it.

Well, now we know why the license hasn't arrived - STUPIDITY! The gal who renewed and gave me my temporary and then processed neglected to put the eye test results into the computer and therefore they can't issue until I go BACK and take the eye test again. And if I hadn't called today no one would have ever told me this. I'd be waiting until the 12th of Never. Apologies were offered but they could not get me an appointment at the regular place I go until December 7th, a day in which I'm filming all morning. So, I have to trek up to Arleta's DMV this Thursday at one-forty - she assured me that I'll have the license within two to three weeks after that. Of course, mine expires on December 8 and I certainly won't have it before then, but I have the interim thing she gave me. And that's the folly of it - she could not have issued me the interim without having approved the eye test.
Congratulations, John G!
Congrats DR JohnG!

Since I wasn't cast in the HHW remake of LIZ & DICK, my schedule is pretty open.
Yea I am home. I did not manage to finish the drink but it was ok so I made the right decision to stop when I did.
It is now official, after weeks of weird behind-the-scenes checks and delays, I have been offered a permanent job doing the job that I've been doing as a contractor for the past 18 months. Pay is really fine and the benefits are extraordinarily fine. After three years without stable, permanent employment, it feels nice. It's rather dizzying and humbling at the same time. I start on Dec. 3.
Back home after having drinks with friends in a bar. On the way back I called in at a smart new fish restaurant for some takeaway fish and chips, shown below

We were going to go to Barnes & Noble on Friday but the line of cars to get in the Mall was daunting so we passed. Instead we went to Home Depot, Best Buy and Target (where I purchased my new phone). We should have bought the wall mount kitchen sink faucet at HD on LI because they don't have it in stock in the city. We don't need to replace it immediately but we need to get a new one. The super will install it when we get it and he will also fix the toilet.A wall mount kitchen sink? I guess I can't picture it.You forgot an important word"wall mount kitchen sink faucet"The faucet is not part of the sink, it's mounted on the wall above the sink. Remember, I live in an old building.

Hope nobody minds but I'm passing along the lovely comments about Sandy's CD to Sandy - she loves reading them. I, of course, think the CD is SHIT or at least my song is SHIT
My apartment smells fabulous! The beef, bay leaf, onion, tomatoes, cabbage and cauliflower are brewing up a delicious stock. Tomorrow I'll add the potatoes and carrots, then throw in the celery, more onion, green beans, lima beans, and corn. I should have by late tomorrow evening four pots of soup cooking away. I'll keep one and freeze the rest. Now, what am I doing about dinner?

I hear San Antonio is an interesting place.
