It is now official, after weeks of weird behind-the-scenes checks and delays, I have been offered a permanent job doing the job that I've been doing as a contractor for the past 18 months. Pay is really fine and the benefits are extraordinarily fine.

After three years without stable, permanent employment, it feels nice. It's rather dizzying and humbling at the same time.

I start on Dec. 3.

Hoo & Ray!  Congratulation, John!

Thank you, my friend.

Keeping my head above water.  That's the title of my new book.

First viewing of "Magoo's Christmas Carol" of the season tonight. "Winter Was Warm." And "Razzleberry Dressing." Great stuff.

Pogue is probably cowering under his covers since I posted that I didn't think he'd be happy if he slaved over something and then asked me my opinion (or not) and I told him it was utter SHIT.  Or not. :)

Big boobs or not, I still think Pogue is sweating the love scenes.

Finished with my viewing.  I'm so annoyed about the DMV thing - such a waste of my time and I'm supposed to go see the first cut of episode three that day.  Really irritating.

T.O.D.

Jonathan "Jack" Gregory (1903 - 1929).  Known in all the New York speakeasies as "Wacky Jacky" for his flamboyant antics.  He was killed on October 29, when a little-known stockbroker jumped to his death on Black Tuesday and landed on Wacky Jacky, who was passing by on the street below.

What a wacky & sad story.

Sorry,  I thought it could make an interesting fictional biography.

Sandy is appearing at the Signature Theatre next Monday.  I reserved a ticket.   Looking forward to seeing her!

DWS SPOILER

DR Jennifer, Mom and I were cheering for Derek and Shawn and were quite surprise that they didn't win.  Mom really doesn't like Tony so she wasn't pleased and said it ruined her night, lol.   I thought it was fun to see how excited they all were. And now they all three have a mirror ball.

Today was another insane day at work.  Had a deadline and just got it filed about an hour ago.  So I was writing and watching dancing at the same time.

Glad to see that DR Jane survived her procedure and had good results.

I think getting bumped off the Internet is SHIT - just like I think having to take another eye test on Thursday is SHIT and not getting my renewed license, which should have been here two weeks ago until AFTER my current license expires - that's SHIT.
