I had  slice of pizza when I got in, and I'll shortly have some soup.

My invoice payment arrived in today's mail, so I went to the bank, and then I spent time revising one of my DEAREST ENEMY essays.

I swear, what is with these "reviewers" on these Blu-ray sites?  They can't possibly be as inane as they seem, can they?  In a "review" of the new Gypsy release on Blu and Ray, the "reviewer" states that "according to the imdb" the Together Wherever We Go number and the extra bit of You'll Never Get Away from Me number were cut shortly after the film's release.  No.  Never.  Cut after an early preview the numbers were never in any release of Gypsy.  Why would anyone trying to have credibility as a reviewer trust the imdb to have ANY accurate information, when it is well known that whatever good that site may provide, it is clearly riddled with horrendous errors.

Back from another day of Gift Bags. I took a shower and a nap and then tomorrow it's back for more.

It's supposed to be 65 degrees in Manhattan tomorrow!!!

I'll be inside most of the day but it will still be nice when I leave.

Next week I'm finally seeing War Horse (it closes in January) and I'm seeing the new play The Other Place by Sharr White, directed by Joe Mantello and starring Laurie Metcalf. It had an Off-Broadway run and Metcalf got rapturous reviews. The show popped up on TDF so I got a ticket. I'll be done with bag packing by then so I can just enjoy the day and then go to the theatre.

This will NOT do.  It should not be like pulling teeth to have our usual number of postings.  Where in tarnation is Jane?  ChasSmith?  George? DougR? And more.  Let's get some posting goin' on or there will most assuredly be hell toupee.

Sherlock has his own Christmas card.  I guess at this point it won't be available until next year.  I'm not sure.

DR Vixmom when you were going through your chemo did anything help your nausea?  I looking for tips for my friend.  The nurses suggested she try edible pot.  It's legal in California.

I am going to go watch 2 episodes of White Collar. We are only nearing the end of season 3. I think you are on season 4 on USA network (which we still don't get here). I love this show. Definitely one of my absolute favorites.

TOD:

Definitely leisure suits...I only had one, thank god.  I went through all the other 70's trends...flare trousers, platform shoes, etc.  I'm actually currently lobbying for a return to men's neck scarves...I think they'd be a stylish, more comfortable alternative to ties.

Does anyone still wear a tie?
