I just ordered a few things from Sherlock's Christmas collection including stickers from his Christmas & a couple of other designs of friend's dogs.

I ordered the square keychain! :D

Now, I wonder how I go about getting onto Skip and FJL's birthday gift list.

I am quite happy to report that the gal dancing in this wacky musical number is now my Facebook friend and indeed we had a lovely little chat last night.  :D

I had a delightful day in Lebanon, OH, first lunching and touring with my girlfriends and then shopping for and visiting my Mom.  Richard and I have had pizza and watched a couple of segments of our lecture series on cathedrals and now we're relaxing by our bubble-lighted mantle.

I was in Lebanon, OH - I've written about it several times.  The Golden Lamb - and the best fried chicken I've ever had.

BK, we had lunch today at The Golden Lamb.  I had a salmon sandwich, but I wish I'd ordered something like the fried chicken.

When it's a special year, and if there are good specials going on for something you like, we try (assuming we remember in time).

I'll make sure to put your special year next year on our great new 2013  calendar

Off to opening night and "Mr Fezziwig's Annual Christmas Ball" to follow.  I'll be home early, I'm sure.

That sounds like fun. Is everyone dressed in early 19th century clothing?

Made latkes tonight with daikon, turnip, golden beets and zucchini, and mixtures of all of the above. I don't fry enough. They weren't the best I've ever made. But they taste good. That's all that matters.

Getting ready to start "Dark Shadows" and there was a preview for the release of the old movies with David Selby and the rest. I'd rather watch those, but I'm going to give this one a try with a fairly open mind.

Happy Birthday, DR Jane!  Hope you're having a nice day!

I am and thank you.  We just returned from town so I could enjoy the lights and a delicious dinner at the Japanese restaurant.

And I am dead tired.  Tomorrow I'm all over the place so I mustn't pull a very late one tonight.

Well, "Dark Shadows" was an occasionally enjoyable miss. The ending was really bad.

Anyway, it's time for "Pee-Wee's Christmas Special" with k.d. lang, the Del Rubio Triplets, Cher, Frankie and Annette, Magic Johnson, Dinah Shore, Whoopi and too many others to mention. This is the most deranged Christmas special outside the "Star Wars" special. I just love it.
