While at Norwalk High School today, I learned that their band had been invited to be in the BABES IN TOYLAND at Avery Fisher Hall this past weekend.  They had a great time.

TOD:

Blake Edwards: Victor, Victoria; A Shot in the Dark; SOB

Glenn Ford:  The Left-Handed Gun; Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Lee Remick:  The Long, Hot Summer; Wild River; The Hallelujah Trail

Glenn Ford wasn't in THE LEFT-HANDED GUN.  That was Paul Newman.

I think you mean THE FASTEST GUN ALIVE.

You are absolutely correct.  It should have been "The Fastest Gun Alive"...great score by Andre Previn and a really suspenseful western film.

Thanks, Druxy!

DR TCB congratulations on driving yourself to PT.  I remember how great it felt not to be dependent on someone to drive me.  Having to find friends to do it must be much more difficult than asking family.

Great Photo MBarnum!!  I like Cole's Giant wrist watch

That is his new Mickey Mouse watch which I gifted him in honor of my birthday. I told him it was my tradition to give gifts to others on my birthday...but actually, I had bought that for him a few months back and it has been sitting in my car's glove compartment all this time. I had forgotten about it until finding yesterday.

Except now he will expect a gift from you every year on your birthday. ;D

My last several posts have been made on the iPad mini that Richard just bought me for Christmas.  He says I can play with it until he has to wrap it on Dec. 22.  We've just met up with Rob here at Kenwood Towne Center in the Cincinnati 'burbs.

I wish the store had one in for me to bring home and compare it to my Nook HD.

That happens to me on Facebook all the time and it drives me nutty and it keeps me from seeing the rest of the days posts! I hate not knowing what all my Facebook friends are doing!

I don't have the problem too often but today it has been really bad.  It took me a long time to get through all of my posts.

One thing I will never understand is why some people get all in a huff if you say "Happy Holidays" during this season, rather than "Merry Christmas."

What is tarnation is wrong with being all inclusive of the holidays occuring during December?

I mean really, why would you want to say "Merry Christmas" when it is actually Hanukkah?

Exactly!  Most (but not all) major religions have their big holiday at this time, so why specify just the Christian celebration?

David Wechter got a package of screeners via Fed Ex.  I did not, at least not yet.  Nor has Ontrac showed up at the mail place with my package.

It's a nice age to be DR GINNY.....especially for me on the 4th Wednesday of each month.

And me, on the fourth Monday of every month!

And me, on the first of each month!

I knew it when it was plain old Kenwood Shopping Center.

You're going to Montgomery Inn, right?  Jealous!  ENJOY!

Yes, I, too, remember Kenwood Shopping Center.  We did, indeed, dine at Montgomery Inn and it was fabulous!  We're home now enjoying NCIS.
