Well, you've read the notes, the notes were possessed, and now it is time for you to post until the possessed cows come home.

Today, my friend Margo and I are going to see "The Life of Pi" in 3-D.  I have some coupons, so we'll save a bit o' money.  We're also going to meet before the movie and have dinner at a restaurant, The Rock Wood Fired Pizza.  Margo's favorite drink is The Bucket with five different kinds of rum served in a plastic pail with a shovel which you get to keep.  I don't drink, but a couple of years ago (for some reason), I ordered their Lava Lamp, which is several boozes in a Lava Lite-shaped plastic cup that lights up and you get to keep that, too.  It was actually pretty good.  I might get another one and have a pair of them.  The restaurant is in the corner of the movie theater building, so there's no driving from the restaurant to the movie theater.

Good morning, all! I slept late and I am running off to Toyland. The internet may still be off, and if it is, I'm heading home.

I have nothing to report or to declare.

I have decided that my project for today is clearing through the Christmas stuff and organizing it. I am trapped at home today because of a marathon that has closed the access road to my neighborhood.

Sunday morning greetings!  We are not in Lima today, because Fr. Richard was wise enough to arrange to have today off before we left on our trip.  I feel slightly better today, but not ready to set the world on fire,

Losing 20 pounds would be most welcome. I have started exercising and I do feel better, but I don't put much faith in scales at the beginning. I think the muscle gained weighs more than the inches lost, or some such thing. But pants are fitting better, and I like that.

Count me in on the losing 20+ pounds thing.  I'm definitely at least that much over a more reasonable weight for me, which I haven't seen in several years.  And wasn't this a New Year's resolution (as it so very often is)?  Now where did I put that lettuce?

John G. - I would like to report that since I started my heartburn diet, which excludes almost all food, I feel better and have not lost anything.

Wish I could exclude food, too. But that would make my work a little harder.

Saturday's TOD:

Richard Neutra houses.....I guess I really like the 20th Century Mid-Century designs....in homes, buildings, and furniture.

I have taken the Frank Lloyd Wright tour in Oak Park, Illinois, and nearby.....which is very interesting.

And I am fascinated by the Eastern Building in Los Angeles, that I first noticed in an episode of SOUTHLAND last year. If you are going to have a building, it might as well be turquoise terra cotta and gold leaf.

The Kaufmann House in Palm Springs by Richard Neutra

And another house for people who didn't quite have as much money.

I have finished my Basil Rathbone play and have just ordered the final proof.

Assuming there are no problems, the script should be available in both paperback and Kindle editions in about 2 weeks.

We liked it, but it was weird.
