Plus our local "Chicago-type" trial is still going on. The defendant has been testifying for several days. I'm not sure she's really helping her case. I hear the testimony is pretty graphic.

That's what I am doing for Lent. Giving up not exercising. Plus giving up some food items, as well.

You are giving up double negatives?

When I saw the Show Boat tour, Cloris was touring with Dean Jones as Cap'n Andy and Michel Bell was still on hand to sing "Ol' Man River." Loved every minute of it, but I did see a lot of people get antsy. I just got caught up in that story and the music, more so than any of the overlong Brit shows.

I saw Michel Bell also.

Ann Harada has posted that actor Kevin Gray has died of a massive heart attack. He was such a good guy.  This is very sad news.

He was too young.

I have nothing to say today. Except it is beautiful out, and I walked to the dentist's office and back. No cavities.

:)

I wish I had walked after my book group gathering but I was oddly very hungry and came home to eat.

The LA police officer is barricaded in a cabin. Did someone already report that?

Nope & I haven't seen the news yet.  Thanks.

Today's post brought me a check, 2 CDs, a book, and a DVD. It didn't arrive until 5:45! It's no wonder the asses running the postal system are in financial trouble. The overtime paid out must be grisly.

Looks like another officer died today -- wounded in a gun battle today as the guy was barricading himself.

I haven't decided if I will watch the state of the nation address. I've been dragging myself around all day like a zombie, so I may just go to bed.

It appears the cabin is on fire. I am sorry for the cabin owner.

Watched a motion picture and am feeling quite dreadful - headache, throat better than it was, but nose a bit runny.
