Ever since my accident last summer, I really haven't wanted to be anywhere but home every night.   I've already cancelled three trips since then and I'm starting to wonder if I really want to go to New York. I found myself looking at the 10 day forecast hoping for a snow storm.  Not sure what I'm going to do

BK, I swear, you need to go and get a quart of Hot and Sour Soup.  Don't worry it is made with chicken stock.  it really helps.

Have you been following the Jodi Arias trial, Cillaliz? That would explain your errantness and truantness.

No, that won't explain it, lol

Actually, I've been working. And we had a band concert last Sunday so I was doing a lot of practicing.  Now I have new music and will only be at 4 rehearsals before our next concert, so I've got to practice the new stuff.   I haven't even had time to practice for flute choir...oh joy

I haven't been following it, either. Except to see the headlines online. It appears to be very weird.

I was trying to watch a motion picture but a) it's not very good and it's VERY long) and b) I'm too fidgety.  I'm going to try and get to bed by nine-thirty again - that's really helpful and tomorrow I don't really have to get up early.  I do think I'm going to have to bow out of seeing the show tomorrow night.

I can't watch movies or read books when I'm sick.  They just don't work together with how I'm feeling.

I know -- I thought that when I typed it. Matthew must be walking still.

And yet, "New York" might just be ticket to getting you past the trauma!

I cancelled tomorrow night.  I figure if I'm really good and just stay in and rest and keep eating the damn chicken soup, maybe I'll be all better by Saturday.

Good morning, all!

I'm hoping that I can finish the three big receipt tallies today. Beyond a trip to the bank and a phone call to my accountant, my calendar is wide open.

My friend Ben Davis, who's on the latest KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY recording, has a father going through a bad bout of cancer treatments similar to my dad's last year.He could sure use some vibes! Thanks.

Health vibes to Mr. Davis Senior

It's funny, it isn't really trauma like that.  It was a car accident. I drive all the time. I go through the same intersection at least twice a day and it doesn't bother me.  But, at the end of the day I feel like I need to be home.   Maybe I'm just strange

I still have a week before I have to take Callie to the vet to be boarded, so we'll see what I think between now and then.  I have to go to a funeral Saturday and flute choir on Sunday. We'll see

Cillaliz, I am like that too. I want to be home at night. I am not afraid to drive at night -- I just don't want to. I want to be home.

I'm listening to a non-professional compilation of the soundtrack to this movie, pulled together from various sources (Anthony put it together). We both love this movie!

Big Eden

That is a sweet movie.

Nice DR DRUXY.

So it was you, Bing Crosby, Chet Huntley, Frances Farmer, and Pamela Reed.....at different times, of course.

someone left me a nice big dent in the front bumper
