Well, we got to page twenty-nine for sure.  And there are still plenty of us here and if we all made ten more posts we'd make it into the official top ten.

George, you go to the main page and click on other stats at the bottom and it opens to a page that lists the top 10 topics

Interesting...I wonder why they're different. :-\

George, where did you find what you posted?  It seems one of those topics isn't locked and I need to do that.  What year is that - you see it's not in the real top ten - I'm In the Mood For Oscar.

The one in the picture that I posted that's not locked is today...that's why it looks like we're in the top five today on that screen.

Ahh...that's it.  That screen only goes back to 2008.

So happy Joaquin Phoenix didn't win - I would have thrown my shoe through the TV.

My next project is about screenwriter Robert Riskin, who wrote some of Frank Capra's films, and was also married to Fay Wray.

Click the "home" button at the top of each screen, the under "Haines His Way," click "Daily Discussions," then on that screen, you can sort by "Replies," but I now realize that that doesn't go back through the whole of the board.  It only goes back to May 15, 2008.

I wonder if May 15, 2008 will always be there or if that date will drop off when the new day switches over.  I guess we'll find out in two and a half hours. :)

Whew. . .that was a long show.
Happy that ARGO won.
Happy that Jennifer Lawrence won - I truly enjoyed her in SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK.
I don't know how Seth did as host, I was too busy trying to keep lusty thoughts out of my head. . .
Dame Shirley, in her 1st Oscar appearance showed the entire world how it's done.
Adele sang flat.
Barbra sang touchingly.
Meryl scratched her ass.
Daniel Day Lewis gave a great speach.
There, that sums it up in 10 seconds.

Now, td, Meryl didn't scratch her ass.  She was tugging at her dress because she was walking on its train.  Her heel may have caught the hem or something.

Lewis did give a great speech.  I was glad for all the acting winners.

Amour looks so sad. I don't think I could handle it right now.

My mother wouldn't go see it because of a similar situation

Anyone familiar with the pianist Paul Ford? He worked a lot with Sondheim. Just discovered he's an Atlantan and I had gone to see many shows he played at a local performing arts high school, because my boyfriend was hired to play woodwinds for some of their shows. Wonder if Jose knows him?
