I've eaten and not need to wash the pool water out of my hair.

Do you like the pool water in your hair?

:)

Took me a few reads to see why you said that-lol.

I can't remember the last time I went swimming.  I don't like swimming in the gulf and I don't go to anyplace that has a pool.   I do remember a sign I once saw==  Welcome to our ool.  Notice there is no "P" in it and we would like to keep it that way!  ;)

Evening all!  Well, we made it though another week!

I dreamed about going to Office Depot and trying all the chairs but not liking any of them.  That's because the new boss told us to make a wish list of things that we would like to have to help us work better.  My chair is twelve years old and has been hurting my back.

I will be going to Office Depot tomorrow to try their chairs--I hope it's not a repeat of the dream.  I have to go to Office Depot because that's where the county has it's contract for office supplies.

I will just mention that it has been a week and I haven't heard from either AL or AC.  I guess the project is dead.

Thanks!   You know what I'm doing now?  I'm using a memory foam bath rug to put my back against.  Believe it or not, it works and makes the chair I have more comfortable.

Has anybody here bought an extended warranty for their car?  I am trying to decide if I want to buy one for my Odyssey

For some reason so far this year I am much more disiplined re: starting a new book as soon as I finish my last read. In the past I have struggled with this often having a hard time starting a new book. I am not sure if it is because this year I have read a lot of books that are in the middle of series I love. Also I have read two trilogies from start to finish (normally I would have read each book as it came out).

Sometimes I wish I could take a break in-between books.  Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get into the rhythm of the new book, especially when I prefer the previous book.

I used to have a big problem starting new books. It could take me a week in between books.  Then it used to be a few days. Now I can mostly start the next book right away. But that has only been since January.

I had one and every time I took the car in, whatever was wrong wasn't covered.  But because it was the dealership that I had to take it to, what was wrong, cost more to fix.  I would never get one again.

I keep seeing a foam/gel cushion on tv for sale that looks perfect, except my chair is too small. I have a pillow to lean into but I mostly sit forward in the chair.

I think the standard Costco special is just hot dog and soda.  If they have anything at all, side wise, it's probably a bag of el-cheapo potato chips.

I actually had the Costco hotdog special for lunch today -  It is a 1/4  hotdog (sauerkraut on the side if you so desire and I do!!!) and a fountain drink for $1.50  American

It used to be $1.99 here. But they changed it to $1.50. The hot dog with all you can drink soda.

They also changed all the sodas. It is not very kid friendly anymore. And not very diet friendly (I think only 1 diet drink either coke or pepsi, which is the one diet drink i really don't like).

I usually end up drinking root beer since that is my fav soft drink. I actually only drink soft drinks when i eat at Costco. So that is maybe 10 times per year or less.

I have to say that I had doubts about getting the Kindle Fire HD but now I LOVE it since I can access the library and download from there.  I'm reading a sci fi series by Elizabeth Moon right now--five books total.   I started in January and am on the last book now.   NOTE:  I only read on the bus to/from work and sometimes at lunch.

Most of what I've read say that they are unnecessary.  I've never gotten one and haven't needed it...but that's just me.

Speaking of pool water.  DR Jennifer does your pool use chlorine?  Ours is supposed to be only saline but I know they add something that smells like chlorine.  A friend with a daughter in Sweden said chlorine is illegal there.

I'm pretty sure they do. I think all pools here do.

One thing I find extremely odd about Costco is they do not have anything vegetarian on the menu. I don't believe they even have cheese pizza (i think pepperoni or all dressed are the only choices). I find this terrible (the no vegetarian options). Really not fair.

This is why you are reading as many books as I am this year.  My next book is 900 pages and if I like & finish it I will likely fall behind my Goodreads challenge ;)

And now, I must be off.  I'm working concessions for the Black Box Cabaret Jazz Series: Marc Smason & Better World.  This sounds like it's going to be good!

Until later!
