And maybe some booze. To relax the muscles.

And the word of the day is: HYPOTHECATE!

Wasn't she Oedipus's aunt or something?

Wednesday morning greetings!

...and Ginny forgot to log out again last night.  I'm up early getting ready to go to Dayton for a doctor's appointment (no biggie, podiatrist for me) and brunch with Richard.

I will log out now...

Good morning, all! Another night without the neighbor above me let me sleep very well. On top of that, no signs or noises of spectral visitation, so I'm feeling rather good today.

Sounds like life in DC is going nicely. I'd love to go down to see BK, Lanny, and Sandy's show, and play at the Library of congress, but until April 15, all I make is going to the IRS.

DR cillaliz, I wish you luck with your transition from criminal cases to (hopefully) lots of immigration ones.

I will shortly head for Toyland: I'm working with Peter Foley today on metronome markings for the score. This morning, as well, the Cole Porter Trust is sending a messenger to pick up everything I've located for them on SOMETHING FOR THE BOYS. Hopefully, I will leave Toyland no later than 2:00pm. My Mac specialist is coming over at 4pm to see what of my old Netscape files can be retrieved and to set up my new email.

Signature prevents HELLO DOLLY!?  I hope someone other than Eric is directing.

That's my day.

Since you've all confessed, I'll admit I like meatloaf too.

DR Cillaliz yesterday was the first episode of DWTS. That is odd that your mom thought they were all lousy. Maybe she does not consider that it was their first week. I saw lots with huge potential.

I really enjoyed the dancing, but then I didn't like the all-stars concept at all and I'm happy as an audience member to have a normal contest back to enjoy.  I love when people who get kicked off are good sports about it and sticks round and come back during the season, which seems to happen a lot.  :)

I love meatloaf, too.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Good morning!  Thanks again, BK for inviting me last night.  What a great time I had.  I don't think I've ever met anyone as vivacious as Sandy!

And this is the news I woke up to:

Not sure about Israel, now.  As a matter of fact, one website states that she'll be doing a concert in Berlin on the same day she's supposedly performing in Tel Aviv.

We saw Sandy's show at the Metropolitan Room last December in New York.  Loved her performance, and BK's work on that show was top-notch, too.  i hope BK got to see that night's show and that the crowd reaction also came through on the tape - so he could hear how well it went over with the crowd  (and his brand new song was a big big hit).

Ask BK:

So, you like the calorie counts on the menu. Is that the first time you've seen those? Do you think you'd pay attention to them every time you dined out?

I ask because a friend of mine was raving with delight when she first went to New York because the nutritional info was there on her menu. By the third meal, though, she just wanted to order what she wanted and not be told how potentially bad it was for her.

I do like the calorie count - they don't do them everywhere in LA - the restaurant has to have a specific number of branches - CPK does but you have to ask for it.  But when you're trying to lose weight, it's great.

T.O.D.

Wednesday Ask Sandy Day

Sandy, when can your devoted fans expect to hear your next CD?  (Maybe you could ask your record producer.)

I think we'll be recording in July and our in September

Yes, FJL.  I just wonder if she's still doing shows in Israel.   My friend from England really wants to go.  As it turns out, he's going to be in Florida in early June when Barbra will be in London!
