Well, he has already sent me the 3D plan of the kitchen--It looks wonderful!  Now to see if it happens.

Does anyone except me see how fast things got rolling after all those wonderful posts you made?  Thank you all!

3D plans, how very exciting!!!!

I had thought about the connection.

so if high schools are going to do that sort of thing I may as well provide them with a good vanilla version.

Good idea & it makes it easier for the high schools.

Ah - I shall looking forward to both those developments....yes I didn't see the NHF among them, but I think I will be okay.

So far just two notebooks finished.....only about 200 disks, and I am not seeing much ROOM on the shelves yet.....of course I am doing them by genre, so they are not coming from ONE shelf or one space....

Just got to Alexandria.   Driving time 5:15 from my house, no stops.  Tomorrow will be more leisurely.  I'll explore a bit on my way out of here.  Actually, I think I'll go out now for a bit.

HELLO, DOLLY! at Ford's Theatre!  How cool is that?  However, if Sandy happens to get you box seats, I would double-think before going.

Sure.  The book is downloaded.  You should also be able to read your downloaded books with the wi-fi off.

I think maybe what i wrote didn't make sense. I know that you can read your ebook with the wifi off. I mean it was odd that they wouldn't let you read it on the plane at certain times. But i guess any electronic device is off limits?

I think the "gentleman" on BK's flight is the very reason they don't make any exception when it comes to electronic devices.  Some people would lie thru their teeth about the Wifi being turned off; just to prove that they could get away with it.

Back from Tina's, with a new perm.  I usually try to go into hiding for the first few days, but that's not possible this time.

So, a friend of mine who cuts hair asked for five copies of my book to see if she could sell them. She got the copies yesterday. Today she sold all five to one customer. Who knew the positive link between hair and food? (I can think of plenty of hair in food stories, but I won't go there.)

Naturally, I'm getting her more copies to sell.

Hi- just checking in. We had a student matinee of The Drowsy Chaperone today, it was a totally different show with 300 12-14 year olds watching it.  Quite funny, actually.

The rest of the day is book, therefore no workout which I'm not quite jiggy with, but will make up for it tomorrow, I'm sure.

Back from our work session, much of which I spent just trying to understand the concept of this new show and to focus it and get to its essence.  We played through some potential songs, some of which I'm sure will make the cut.  We'll do more of that tomorrow.  We played through a few of the album choices and looking at the list I think it will make a wonderful album.

I am home for a brief break; Joe was an hour late arriving to the hotel, so I finished reading GOWNS BY ROBERTA while I waited. He arrived around noon, so we wet to a coffee shop on 57th Street for lunch and gossip. During lunch, I got a call from the accountant's office next to Toyland that Fed Ex had delivered a huge carton, and would I please come and get it. Then we went to the Apple Store at 58th and Fifth so he could purchase an ipod for a friend and then we headed down to Toyland, retrieved the carton, and debated a trip to City Hall. Joe wants to marry his fiancee there in May and he wanted to talk to them about the procedures of marrying and being visitors from another country.

I looked up the details onlne, called City Hall, spoke to someone who could answer his questions and handed the phone to him.  After that, we went in a taxi to Blomingdales so he could get Joellen a gift. We then walked to Fifth, I wished him a safe trip back tonight, and I headed home. In another hour, I'll head off to City Center.

I am relaxing before going a few blocks away to meet with my book group to discuss TRIPPING THE PROM QUEEN, a mean-spirited and poorly-researched book about women and rivalry.  As much as I enjoy being with my friends, I'm sorry to miss Michigan's first-round game in March Madness - Go, Blue!

Elaine Stritch

is moving back to Michigan. She will give one final concert at Cafe Carlyle (she lives in the hotel and has for years and years) and then she will move to a 3-bedroom condo in Birmingham, MI.

We used to live very close to Birmingham.  I always enjoyed the charming town, especially the shops and especially afternoon tea at The Townsend Hotel.  I used to also walk through the lovey neighborhoods.

were Peter, Paul & Mary considered Folk Singers?

If so: Puff The Magic Dragon, Leaving On a Jet Plane, Blowing In The Wind

I believe so.

I just finished watching THUNDER ISLAND and indeed it does have the world's worst child actress in it....and Faye's hair does indeed defy description.....  There is no hairdresser listed, maybe that was the problem....or Faye's hair just was not ready for a vacation in Puerto Rico.

Poor Fay Spain...that hairstyle just did not go with her face at all.

And wasn't it sort of strange to see her in a housewife type of a role?

Brian Kelly was very nice to look at, but that was about the only redeeming value of THUNDER ISLAND...at least as far as I can remember.
