At Long Last Love is not a Twilight Time Blu and Ray, but they are handling the release for Fox.
Couldn't find anything on pre-ordering the movie.

Neither could I. :P

Oh, well, George, we shall have to wait until next week to feed that fixation.

Allergies were so bad today, I had to take a decongestant. I thought I was over those for the season, but apparently not. Now I feel cruddy.

My neighborhood Blockbuster is closing.  Their prices are now down to $4.00 per DVD.

So, I went in today and picked up:

GEORGIA O'KEEFE w/Joan Allen
CINEMA VERITE w/Diane Lane
BARNEY'S VERSION w/Paul Giamatti

I've seen and liked BARNEY'S VERSION, but not the other two.

If you're not too picky, you might want to wait a bit.  A couple of years ago, I bought some Blu-ray and DVDs from a closing Blockbuster for as low 99˘ each!  From two different trips, I bought 33 movies for a total of about $52!

But first day of working from home was good, except for when J.B. started doing his dog impersonations during the phone meeting and everyone kept thinking it was a co-worker's dog in the background. The bird just barked away.

Here's a question for those of you that have seen SPAMALOT.

POSSIBLE SPOILER!

In the 2nd act, when they find the Holy Grail in the audience, is the person sitting in that seat a "stooge" (i.e. a plant), or is he really a paying member of the audience?

If he's really a member of the audience, how can they be sure he won't discover the Holy Grail under his seat before that point in the show?

Ahh...there is that.  I wasn't too picky.  I even ended up buying one title that I already owned, but for only 99˘, I figured, who cares? ;)

Speaking  of SPAMALOT, somebody posted a bootleg video of the entire show with the Original Broadway Cast on YouTube.  It's posted in two parts.

It's a terrible quality video, shot from the balcony, but it is still entertaining.

It's not available for pre-order yet - it's been delayed a few weeks.  When it is it will be exclusively through Screen Archives.

Here's a post...I have just received an Amazon package, and in said Amazon package are the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack AND the Deluxe edition soundtrack to "Les Misérables."

It's amazing to me how fast movies come out on DVD/bluray these days!

Someone emailed me that a photo of me from 2009 had been posted online this morning. Sure enough, there I was serving bratwurst at one of our annual Fiesta parties. I'm not the one in the hat:

Nice pic!!!!

TOD:

I like all the Johnny Mercer songs that were previously posted, but my "favorite" is one that he was supposed to write but didn't.

Mercer was supposed to write the lyrics for a Johnny Mandel tune in a movie called THE SANDPIPER.

For whatever reason, he couldn't do tackle it, so the assignment was turned over to my publicity client, Paul Francis Webster, and that resulted in "The Shadow of Your Smile," which won the Best Song Oscar that year.

Another of my all time favorite songs.  Interesting how it came about.
