Stephen King - all of his paperbacks are on sale at World of Wisdom for $2 each.

Are they signed?

Cillaliz: "A Time to Kill" headed to Broadway:

I saw that announced somewhere a while back.  I am hoping that I can get there, but since my track record on travel isn't exactly stellar this year, I'm just going to wait to even think about it

ooh!  Ben's turn!  :):)

My friend, actor Bob Nichols, who was Captain Andy in John McGlinn's SHOW BOAT has died at age 88. He was  kind man and a very good one.

I am very sorry, elmore.  My condolences.

Our little troublemaker is at it again.  It's very difficult taking the high road.  I'm trying and will continue to try.

This day has been a really difficult one. I thought ROBERTA was cast, and today we lost our leading man. He's in City Opera's new production of "Anna Nicole Smith," and. while it was my understanding three weeks ago that all schedules were fine, I learned three days ago that they begin their rehearsals on Aug 13, the same day we begin ROBERTA in Dublin, and City Opera doesn't like his being gone for two weeks. I am not paid nearly enough.

~~~Vibes for Larry and ROBERTA!!~~~
Thanks, DR George! I'm trying to keep my sense of humor going, but this has been a really bad day. Luckily, I've got options for other baritones, but I don't like it when I lose my first choice.
Oh come on Lar, you know I was your first choice.  Give me enough mortician's wax and I could still be your young baritone!
Good morning, all! I had very peculiar dreams and I'm happy to be up and moving.  I've been listening to the edits of the DEAREST ENEMY Epilogue for the past 30 minutes, and much of it is quite nice.
Today is another Toyland trek. I'll finish up the proof on "Clementina," perhaps try out the binding machine with my new binding supplies, and head home. Ialso need to make some fixes to the vocal arrangement of "Let's Begin."
DR Matthew, I'm sorry that you did not see Sarah Brightman last night. I know you were looking forward to it.
Thanks Larry - I'll see her in October.  Something to look forward to!
However, with all the madness, I think I'm somewhat prepared
FJL, listened to "Love Is Like Water" this morning. Really beautiful song.
One of my very favorite songs from THE LAST STARFIGHTER.
Mine as well - Love Is Like Water and  Father and Son are probably my two favorites
FATHER AND SON?  I don't remember that one.
