BARGAIN DAY!

I don't know why they are doing this, since the book is less than a week old, but Amazon has discounted my THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS anthology from $24.95 to $19.11.

I have no idea how long this discount will last, so if you were thinking of ordering the book (with its 10 plays about 11 fabulous people), this might be the time.

http://www.amazon.com/Hollywood-Legends-Eleven-Fabulous-People/dp/1482725673/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1364591068&sr=1-1&keywords=the+hollywood+legends

So ordered!

Because we all have so much free time on our hands. Here's a recipe for making your own Altoids:

http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2012/11/make-your-own-curiously-strong-mints-altoids.html

Oh sure, I make these all the time -  the  REALLY hard part is make the tin box to keep them in -  those little hinges are tough!

I'm with you. And my metal press doesn't always want to work.

Well, the temperature dropped more than 20 degrees and it's gotten cold out there.

But tap class was fun. Ben, I've been meaning to ask you.  How long has Anthony been taking tap?

"Hello, Dolly!"

Watched this one night before last and was enthralled with how beautiful the Blu ray transfer is.

This film has grown on me through the years.  As Gene Kelly's widow said in the "Remembering Gene Kelly" extra, "Dolly" has proven to have legs.

Favorite Musical is Les Mis.
Not sure if you will see this post but did you see the new movie? I just watched the dvd a few days ago and really liked it. It is amazing that they could find some big named stars that could sing so well. I really enjoyed Hugh Jackman. The only star whose voice was not right for his role was russell Crowe. He actually acted well and is not a bad singer. His voice just did not sound at all like how I want Javert to sound.  One person I did enjoy a lot in the movie was the guy who played Marius. He was exactly how I picture Marius looking and sounding.

There is a movie of Les Miz?!

No body ever tells me ANYTHING!

I generally have four or five books going at once, not to mention one in the car. It's gotten worse since starting school, because reading has become something I do for research, not enjoyment.

That said, I've been reading "The Book of Gin" for two months now. And I haven't gotten to the first recipe yet.

I too am a multiple book reader - occasionally a book grabs me that I end of reading ti straight through - the Game of Thrones series did that to me - but most often there is a plethora of books I am grazing through

http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2012/11/make-your-own-curiously-strong-mints-altoids.html

Back in the mid-seventies, one of the local radio stations in Seattle interviewed one of the executives of the Altoid Company who was visiting Seattle.  The reason he gave for his visit was that when they were calculating their world-wide sales; they discovered that the City of Seattle ranked as the third biggest sales market of all the countries in the world.  So they had sent him here to find out how that was possible.  The reason he found was that when the coffee market exploded in Seattle, people started looking for something to cure coffee breath at work.  Someone stumbled upon Altoids and several coffee chains (i.e. Starbucks) began stocking them at the cash registers of all their stores.  Thus started the Altoid fever in the United States.

Well, I must be off.  I have a few errands to run before tonight's final dress/$5 preview performance of the men's version of Theater Artists Olympia's production of Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs."

;)

George, when you go tomorrow for the women's cast, please tell Dana (who plays Jo) that I said "Break a Leg!"  She played my wife in ANNE FRANK.

Really?  I would have thought Stockard Channing, but then she is one of my favorites.
