Broadway Buzz has reported that TUCK EVERLASTING, for which Rob Berman is the music director, has been cancelled. I can find nothing anywhere to verify this.

I got word that the City Center Director of marketing Christopher Williams, whose marketing department was coincidentally responsible for Encores insistently hawking on talkin Broadway despite how evil Talkin Broadway has been, and telling the artists that they must stay out of the discussion - has left City center in the last day or two.

I don;t know if this means he is just no longer an employee, or if he has actually left, though - but it is a ncie step.  maybe his replacement will lead a department that is  less harsh and unyieldiing and calculatedly nasty  in its marketing decisions.

Nor can I. The official Web site is up and running and the latest Twitter posts are from a few days ago.

Off to the vet now for Daisy's annual vaccination - as long as I can manage to get her in the cat carrier!

Well that certainly makes its title ironic, n'est-ce pas?

I'm up!  What a weird night.  I fell asleep on my bed by 11:00, lights on and everything.  Woke at 2:30am, turn the lights off and got in bed.  Slept ok, but woke up with a headache.   Today should be interesting....  Going to go for a bike ride when the housekeeper arrives.

Oy -- I just got reminded of another dream, in which I had apparently ordered a CD of R&H's ALLEGRO from someone selling through Amazon, and when it arrived I found that I'd already purchased it at a store.

Buying things twice by mistake happens to me rather too often in real life  ;D

Oh, ain't it the truth!  I've "re-bought" DVDs, Blu rays and CDs.   It's so very annoying to find I already had it.

DR CHAS SMITH the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that your dream indicates that you are ready to explore your past and accept any decision and choice you made without regret. It also says that you feel you have moved away from many people in your past that may have been holding you back, although there is some longing to get in touch with some of them, even though you know it may bring up issues.

It may also be telling you to go out and shop for a mint-green suit.  ;)

DR KevinH:  Every time I see Nicole Kidman, I truly want to love her in whatever role she plays.  She is, however, very hit-and-miss with me.

DR Jeanne:  That photo MBarnum posted of an Indian vampire may not be your idea of what a vampire should like like.  But, then, he doesn't show his fangs.

Thursday afternoon greetings!  SW Ohio is finally getting the rain they've been predicting all week and, so far, it's been nice, gentle spring rain.  Maybe the thunderstorms are out of the picture...

Anyway, I've had my basement walk and after a shower and lunch, Richard and I have to make our windows accessible from the inside by moving furniture away from them.  Tomorrow morning we'll take down the curtains.  We expect the cleaning crew between 11am and 1pm tomorrow - they'll wash the windows inside and out and swap the storm windows for the screens.  Aaahhh, must be spring!

A late good morning, all.

Slept 11 hours and it was apparently much needed. Glad I took today off to do taxes, even though I know now that we won't be doing them until the evening. Oh, well, I guess I can enjoy a lazy day.

By the way, Vixmom: Texas Roadhouse is as Texas as I am. We're both from Louisville. Only, I think I've adapted better. (I like it, too, but it ain't Texan.)

Also, if you sign up online to get their emails (and not too many), they send you a coupon for your birthday for a free dinner with the purchase of another.

Good morning. My morning walk was over 16,000 steps and included seeing this nice duck.

I'm going to have to try this.  Bake the cookie dough on the outside to make ice cream cups.

In the coffee shop today were two young women with two children of about 6 and 7 years old who were being left to run about all over the place, stand on chairs etc. When I was young you didn't see children acting like that in reastaurants and shops and I and my siblings were taught to sit at the table, wherever we were. Why don't parents control children nowadays?

My English mother always said "Children should be seen, not heard."  It sound like these two were doing both in abundance.

Went for a bike ride around Hayward today. This new app I'm using said I only went 8 miles in an hour. Why does it seem longer? LOL
