Well, you've read the notes, the notes were proofed, and now it is time for you to post until the proofed cows come home.

Good morning, all!

While I know I had several curious dreams, I remember none of them.

I will head down to Toyland this morning and accomplish some tidying up.I will meet Rob Berman there at 1:00 and meet with him for a couple of hours. Then, I head to West 89th Street for this radio interview about Jerome Moross. I only hope it goes well.

I believe that's my day.

Good morning, all.

Working from home today, which is nice. But I'm starting an hour early because I need to leave early. Already I feel rushed.

TOD:

My favorite thing to collect would be original cast recordings and theater-related recordings, though they are filling every nook and cranny lately. My treasures are the ones that take out something obscure, to me, at least, and discover something new and wonderful on the recording. Lately, that has included "The New Moon," which without realizing it, I have three recordings of.

i used to collect cast/studio LPS of musicals, but once CDs came in the value of the "rare" "out of print" recordings overnight became worth nothing.

I know collected Disney/Wizard of Oz Sno Globes. Most of them have music.

Disney stopped making them because people couldn't take them on the plane with them due to the limit of how much liquid could be taken on the plane. Don't know why they would have them shipped home.

I recently heard they started to make them again and I bought a beautiful Peter Pan that has the ship light up, Peter files and plays music. A beautiful piece. I took the last box up and had it opened to make sure nothing was broken. Another person saw and wanted one and they had to call around the store to see if there was another one available.

Good morning.

Wow, I came home after work and watched a movie.  Just laid on the couch and watched a movie.  Casino Royale.

What a treat.  And then 6 hours of sleep.  What a treat.

What happen in Boston is just beyond belief.   I just do not understand why people do things like that.
Will listen to the news in the car on the way to work for updates.

And, off to work.

Ta da!

DR JEANNE - Son of Fury might be Gene's first picture....she has a supporting role in it and doesn't show up until about 40 minutes in....but there's lots of other stuff happening to keep your attention until then including Tyrone Power and Frances Farmer and George Sanders.

Hi all!   I was so sorry to hear the news about what happened in Boston.  How scary and horrible.  And to hear that it killed an 8 year old!  So sad.

It makes me feel kind of guilty on this day when something so wonderful is going to happen for me!  Today the granite goes in.  I can't wait to take the photos and post them for you all to see the finished kitchen!  This afternoon the plumber will come so I'll have water as well.  A kitchen sink is a good thing.

I confess I think it is kind of gross to wash dishes in the bathroom.

They are here!  gotta go

I will be on the news on Thursday.

DR Jennifer I think it is time you had your shoulder checked and get into physical therapy

I'm not sure. IT's much better than it was the first weekend. And it's not hurting me that much that I can't do things. It's mostly the pain of getting in and out of bed.

I think it will get better on it's own. It's not like I injured it doing some activity.

DR Jane (or anybody else), have you ever taken muscle relaxants before?

It gave me an upset stomach. Made me drowsy. And it also made my body feel numb.  I knew it would do this because it always does. But I wonder if this is a normal side effect or if it's just me.

I took 1/2 a pill. The normal dose it 2 pills for adults. I don't get why it does this. IT seems so odd to me. I still feel it more than 12 hours later.

Muscle relaxants turned my mom into soup. I don't think she ever took a second one.

TOD:

I like signed "one-of-a-kind" movie/theatrical memorabilia items, such as 11x14 lobby cards or programs.  [Signed 8x10 photos are a dame a dozen.]

Some of my more prized lobby cards include signatures of Humphrey Bogart, Orson Welles, James Cagney, John Garfield, Spencer Tracy, Ingrid Bergman, Abbott and Costello, Lana Turner, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, etc.  I also have a card from STAGE DOOR, signed by Hepburn, Rogers and Ball, as well as one from KISS ME KATE, signed by Grayson, Keel, Miller and Rall.

Favorite theatrical programs: THE WINSLOW BOY signed by Basil Rathbone and DEATH OF A SALESMAN (London Production) signed by Paul Muni and Kevin McCarthy.

I also have 10 signed/numbered Al Hirschfeld lithos.

They are installing the lovely granite as I type this.  They are also going to install granite window seals (not sure that is the right way to spell it) on ALL of the windows in the house!  It was one of the things missing.  I had used door frames as window seals before because I learned that Home Depot/Lowes sell them but no longer cut them to size.  It's going to wonderful to be able to clean them the right way.  There was always dirt under the wood.
