I now musts and needs to be running some errands at:  Trader Joe's (for evening snack material), Guitar Center (for cables), Home Depot (for water softener salt pellets), Costco (to ask about tires), the library (for a DVD I'm happy to rent, not purchase), and perhaps a bite to eat.

What is a guitar cable?

I forgot this yesterday. But one interesting (to me) set of items that I have started collecting recently are bookmarks that have my favorite books on them.  More and more current authors have started making bookmarks featuring their books. And I love them!

DR DRUXY was Barbara's voice in real life the same as the one she uses in the movies?

Did you ever have the feeling that you wanted to say to her:  "Room for one more, honey...."

She was quite a bit like her screen image.

Actually, I write her in my forthcoming 2nd memoir, which will be out later this year.

I'm going to sit by the mail box right now.

I used to collect bookmarks and over the years got rid or lost them.  I guess when you collect something you shouldn't use it-lol

Ask BK:

Why might you be putting yourself through a high school production of WEST SIDE STORY?

VIBES it is a whole different world from the one I sat through repeatedly (playing in it) a few years back.

I was invited by the Staitmans - it's Sarah's high school and a brand new theater they've built.

My question to BK:

Any more original cast albums in the Kritzerland pipeline?

Trying, but who knows?

Ask BK:   Regarding "Leave Her to Heaven" -- when FSM issued the soundtrack many years back, the final track was missing the choral overlay.  Has that overlay been lost to the ravages of time, or will it be on the Kritzerland issue?

Yes, the choral overlay is there on our release.

Thanks.  Actually, it's all the stories that I didn't have room for in the first one (e.g. Rock Hudson, Jane Fonda, Christopher Lee, Tennessee Williams, etc.).

Our dentist stopped taking our Blue Cross. Blue Cross never covered much, anyway. My crown cost $900 after insurance. That was an expensive bowl of popcorn!

My mom went to Mexico to get crowns on several of her teeth...at about $200 each!  Friends of hers live in Arizona near the Mexican border and have been going to the same dentist for years.  The were trained in the states and have all the latest technology.  Her dentist here in Olympia checked out the work when she got back and said that they did very good work.  It's just a LOT cheaper in Mexico.

Here is that "SHIP MY PANTS" commercial if people don;t know what I'm talking about.  they really might just as well say the "cuss" word and be done with it, LOL, for all the subtlety.

Have you ever heard of Tate's Bake Shop cookies?  I'm addicted to the chocolate chip-walnut.  I'm told the butterscotch-pecan is a dream, but local suppliers don't carry them.

Trader Joe's carries its own brand of chocolate chips which are baked/packaged by Tate's.  Whereas Tate's has a greenish package, the Trader Joe package is a yellowish.  Otherwise the packaging is the same.

Don't know Tate's, or TJ's packaging of same.  I'm not sure I've even bought any cookies there in recent years.  Today's visit was for tortilla chips, salsa, and avocados etc. for guacamole.  Mexican snacks.

I take my snacks like I take my dentistry:   Mexican!

I'm beginning to think this ROBERTA recording is cursed! We've found the ideal leading man replacement, who wants to do the recording, and he's committed to a trip between August 11-18. We could rehearse him in New York, but he'd miss rehearsing with his castmates between Aug 13 and 15, but I need him in the studio the morning of the18th to record. If there were delays or flight cancellations, we'd be screwed.

Damnation!

"Let's Begin" vibes for Elmore.

What is a guitar cable?

Probably a telegram that reads:  "I'm all strung out.  Stop picking on me!"

My needs were simple:  two 3-foot 1/4-inch stereo (balanced) cables -- something you used to be able to walk into Radio Shack and pick up for a couple of bucks.  Okay, I did take the "better" ones today, but I am now $25.50 closer to poverty.

Just finished listening.

Loved the music.  Terrific show, but as my wife said, "So depressing".

I love the original recording.  I haven't listened to the revival recording in quite a while, so I don't remember much of it.

I remember reading that the original cast recording has the most spoken dialogue on a musical cast album.  I think that it's pretty cool that they put that whole last scene on the recording.
