MANY of us have DR KATE.  I recommend it highly.  There are several reviews on Amazon.com that may help you.

The photo  place is no longer at 82nd and Amsterdam, so I guess I will go later to 88th and Broadway. I did get to the post office and I have the passport renewal form.

I've heard from the actor's manager, so we'll see how it goes after we talk and he hears how little the producer wants to pay him! It hasn't stopped other wonderful talents from signing with us, but the last agent I dealt with turned us down flat since her client will make more staying in MAMA MIA!

I think it was Richard Lewis in some 1980's movie set in Paris who was sitting with his friends at a sidewalk cafe - they were all talking about what to do with their lives and he said after awhile:  Well, I guess I could go to New York and get back into CATS.

TOD:

DVD - NEVER TOO LATE starring ME.....now and then I like to watch a show I've directed or appeared in....it is a funny play and I highly recommend it to all community theatres, etc.....except maybe DR GEORGE's group....it might not fit their canon.

After reading MR BK's comments and DR DRUXY's comments, I bought the DVD of DJANGO UNCHAINED today....but I won't watch the first 15 minutes....then it should be just the right length.

I love the Leonard Cohen song "Hallelujah"

Also Jeff Buckley's version.

I am learning to play and sing it.

I have read many opinions about the meaning of it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Parody lyric of the Jeff Buckley version of "Hallelujah" in the New York Times comments under this article about the Jeff Buckley jukebox musical that's coming up this fall.

http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/04/12/last-goodbye-with-jeff-buckley-music-will-open-old-globe-season/

So far, no negative fall-out.  :)

TOD

Blu-ray - DIE HARD Quadrilogy. Repackaged at a budget price so I couldn't resist the opportunity to upgrade my DVDs.

CD - I should have "The Diary of Anne Frank" but it seems to be stuck in the post.

Is ANYone watching the current edition of "Project Runway"?

Last week, they had a final four who they sent home to create collections.  They mentioned not a word about them having a mini-runway show with one of them being "out" before Fashion Week.   They're devious devils.

I was very pleased with the outcome last night.  No more spontaneous emotional outbursts.  No more verbal diarrhea (or babbling).  No more wild hair (isn't it "fun"?).

So glad this person was sent packing.  Wish it had happened WEEKS ago!

I can't imagine why.  I've always thought that if a parade was passing by that you were the sort of person who would grab a hat and cane and jump right in and join the merriment!

Friday morning afternoon greetings!  My whirlwind yesterday was quite exhausting and I slept in 'til 8:30 this morning.  I've been following the events around Boston while catching up on email and such.

DVD:
A 1950s Korean film noir recommended to me by an old school chum who is living in Korea. Knowing my love for old B movies, he felt it was right up my alley. It does look good!

TOD:

CABLE - I'm going to watch ROOM 237 for the heck of it (on) On Demand this evening.

BLU - THE YOUNG GIRLS OF ROCHEFORT is finally on the slate for tomorrow evening.

Movies watched for various reasons over the past few days include THE LANGOLIERS (yes, THE LANGOLIERS), HOMICIDAL, MULHOLLAND DR, and the mini-series WILD PALMS (not all the way through that one yet).

Occasionally, but it's been happening so often lately that it gets wearying rather than flattering.

I'm up.  The modem lost signal while I was about to post, then got it back - this is the second time in three days - I unplugged the router and that fixed it, but if it happens one more time it may just be time to switch everything over to the AT&T Uverse all in one package and be done with modems forever.

If you're going to do it that way, I would suggest not watching the last 15 minutes.

The length problem is in the 2nd half.

Hey Ron P,

I used to watch Project Runway,  I loved it.  I must start watching it again.  I love fashion.  I'm envious of the way they can design clothing.  I think it is fascinating.

Loved reading the reviews of "Jekyll and Hyde." Isherwood from the NYT, not a write I generally enjoy reading, especially when it comes to musicals, nails it with his comment that Frank Wildhorn is the "crab grass of Broadway."

I really liked THE LANGOLIERS. A bit like a feature length Twilight Zone episode.
